  1. What county are you from? Do baseball players wait until middle school to start playing? No, most start around 5 or 6 with teeball and play every year after that. So where is all the talk of burn out coming from? Face it, a kid that claims he was burnt out with football because he played for several years, really was not a football player to begin with. When you like something, that is what you do, you play it. Comical.

That is crazy! You want your 5 or 6 year old getting banged around and hit in the head multiple times. It isnt good for young kids, their brain isn't fully developed. Have you done research on concussions? I think flag football would be perfect for young kids but not full pads. Baseball players are getting banged around multiple times, and the chances of concussion are far less in baseball.

  2. What about signing him up for flag football? Kids really should be taking shots in the head at such a young age. I think they will learn more playing flag football and have more fun. You also run the chance of him burning out early, it happens more than you think. We have a youth program in cannon county, but the coaches don't understand that at that age it isn't about winning it is about having fun, learning fundamentals, and making friends. I think 12 to 14 year old is good time to start pads.

  3. So you run and tell the world before even getting your facts straight. So now you are just spreading rumors. Classy!

You misquoted me. I didn't use the words "tell it like it is" I told it as it was told by a member of the booster board in the stands that I witnessed myself. Get it straight.

Listen folks, sometimes the truth is an ugly thing. but, I tell you what..I will come back when the pot finally boils over and all the ugliness has finally come out. Until then..good day.
