Not sure if any refs read these boards? Regardless of the majority opinion of the trio that worked the Fairview/East Hickman game last night, one of them signed his check and donated it to a teacher at Fairview who is fighting cancer. He was watching one of the kids from Camden. We didn't see a standout near Douglas' talent. (Not meant to be mean.) Said they were looking at Juniors right now.

So Rick Byrd was in Fairview tonight in the bleachers. We asked him who he was there to watch. We bluntly asked him what about Douglas. He asked us how tall is he and what's his name. How in the world has he not heard of Douglas? Was he messing with us? I hope so. Douglas is still far and away the best baller I've seen, read about, and followed this year.

You didnt but that Big kid number 50 i think is a really good baller. No reason for you guys to be 0-9 thats just coaching.

We got two big ones. 50 stays outside, usually around the 3 point line, and 52 stays inside the paint. This bunch has had trouble since back in middle school. Great kids, good athletes, pretty good coaching. I just think the game of basketball has evolved to run, gun, and shoot. Our personel doesn't match up well in today's game. It was good to get back down to Camden.

Long trip to Camden tonight on an exam night. Hope we can keep the score interesting.

Creek Wood put on a shooting clinic at Fairview last night. It was raining 3s the entire night. They couldn't miss! Guarded, unguarded, from anywhere on the floor, it didn't matter. Sickening for us, but very impressive!

Just want to give a quick shout out to a couple of East Hickman kids who will be playing for a State Championship with the Nashville Christian Eagles. QB Kyle Tidwell and OLB Nate Hargrove. That is one extremely good football team.

Waverly definetly was, but Creek Wood is still loaded with talent.

Creek Wood should go undefeated again this season. They are hands down the best club in this district. They only lost Edmondson, right? They will plug Dotson right in that spot and never skip a beat. They will go back to state, right through CPA, who lost both their showstoppers. Fairview, the only other team I'm really familiar with, has one Senior, four Juniors, a couple of Sophomores, and lots of Freshmen. We have a new coach. We have size, but depth looks like the issue. Can't predict where they'll end up, but should definetly be more competitive than last year.

Another fun season in the books. Hard to believe it's already over for us all. Congrats again to the Camden program on your Region Championship. I'm pretty positive the Fairview Yellow Jackets will be back as a contender again next year. Round ball starts next week. Go Jackets!

Stratford can beat cpa...This Is going to be a good game

I said the same thing last night. Stratford has the size and speed to match them. I was impressed with Stratford.
