My facts may be wrong, but the fact still remains there is not a true state champion. What has been the discussion in the past and what will it take, in your opinion, to organize such a tournament?

Why isn't there one true state champion. We as coaches, wrestlers and supporters of the sport should organize one if TSSAA will not. Lets all contact our local coaches, usa wrestling chairmain, Tom Marable to see if he can help. I for one will help organize it. I am sure all the wrestlers would agree. The size of your school should not determine who is the state champion, lets bring back the integrity and honor a state champion of the past had so our kids of today can experience all that one feels knowing he is the best in weight class and not always wondering, "what if" Does anyone else have the same opinion?
