  1. First of all I want to say Congratulations girls! My grandaughter and I have been to most of your games and if not, then we have kept up with you all via radio, internet, and newspaper. I was unable to attend Saturday night because of keeping my other grandkids. However, my grandaughter went with a friend and she called me the instant she got home screaming with excitement. She showed an interest in central ball after attending a state game last year with a friend and wanted to begin attending games. She and I began going together to games this school year and it has bonded us in so many ways. We began becoming familiar with the players and she became an instant fan! I forgot how exciting central ball can be after all of these years, but am a big fan again. We have even began a scrap book with pictures of us at games and newspaper clippings of the team. Thanks to you girls, I am now the favorite grandmother! We are cheering on Masingale for Miss Basketball! My grandaughter loves Casteel and Coleman. She always talks about how pretty they are (how cute is that). The Willams girls (we keep getting them confused because they look so much alike)are gonna be a big help at state. I personally love to watch Young as she plays hard consistently. My grandaughter loves when Morrow is on a roll with her 3's! My grandaughter told me she is not sure if Myers will get to play at state because she got hurt during game. If not, she will definetely be missed! I know Trentam will knock that ball from those girls. My grandaughter loves when she does that. I hope Pirkel(not sure how spelled) and Truelove get a chance to experience the court at state. They are a joy to watch as well! Well, girls thanks again for reminding me how much fun Central ball can be and especially for my increasingly close relationship with my oldest grandaughter. I will be unable to attend state due to watching my younger grandkids while their parents work. My grandaughter, however, is trying to talk her dad into going if you all play Friday. And, hopefully, if you all play Saturday, I WILL BE BRINGING HER MYSELF! Go Chargerettes!
  2. she had a sprained ankle and a hair-line fracture tibula
  3. Many of our Central fans have been asking when freshman, Kelsey Myers, would be able to return. I just found out she has been released from her doctor to do so. I am so excited for her return. I just hope her weeks of rest will not affect her stamina for the games to come. Welcome back Kelsey!
  4. I know Masingale should get Miss Basketball! I love watching Casteel and Young play. I was glad to see freshman, Trentham, play better at the end. I do, however, miss watching freshman, Myers, play.
  5. We didn't have the best game tonight, but managed to pull it off.
  6. As a past parent of a Chargerette basketball player, I am so proud of these girls and the talented freshman that have joined this team. As expected, Masingale is doing an awesome job and deserves the title of Miss Basketball. I have also been impressed with Casteel, Young, and Morrow. I love watching Young and how aggressive she is as a player on defense. The freshman ladies that have joined the team are talented and will be a great asset to the team in the coming years. Coleman and Pirkle seem to be gaining more confidence and playing better and better. Trentham and Myers have been impressive from the beginning. Myers has been the second leading scorer before she suffered an ankle injury (hopefully coming back soon) and Trentham has been the third leading scorer. Big things will be happening for this talented team!
  7. My vote will go with Elizabeth Masingale. She is an outstanding player!!!! I have been so impressed with her! I am a parent of a past Chargerette player and have seen Elizabeth play. She is a well-rounded player who will help her team win every time. Our freshman players are very impressive and will help us to win many games in the future. Everyone needs to watch out for our freshman players, especially Kelsey Myers and Elizabeth Trentham!
  8. As a parent from a past chargerette player, I think after watching many games, Elizabeth Masingale should receive this honor. I am so proud of her. I predict freshman Kelsey Myers will be the next in line for this reward!

Can you post the stats on my page. I would like to see them. As I said in the post, I didn't have any stats to look at. I just watch the games. The reason I didn't see Kelsey Myers as the 2nd leading scorer is because she had been out for a few weeks already. I was at the game she got hurt in.

According to our stats, Elizabeth Masingale is our leading scorer; Kelsey Myers is our second leading scorer; and Elizabeth Trentham is our third leading scorer. Caitlyn Casteel is doing an awesome job and Haley Morrow continues to improve each game. I am so proud of our girls!

I am a parent of a past chargerette player. I am so excited about our team and especially the future of our talented freshman team! I was so disappointed in losing freshman Kelsey Myers with an injury. She is one of the best players Central has had. She and the other talented freshman players will make an awesome team in the future.
