  1. No reason to talk about that aforementioned Coach he is gone and probably would of resigned at the end of the year. I never said the Wynne? coach wasnt good I just said he has moved on from every job he has ever had and for most admin that is a red flag. It takes away your credibility when you have coached at 8 schools and none of them more than 4 years when you say you want to retire at a school. Moving on all of Goodpastures success has been in the wing t so it will be interesting to see if they hire a coach with that background. Also junior high parents will always look around at school options and talk before high school that is nothing new. I imagine Mote wasn't the first choice last time so it will be interesting this time around. Obviously the situation still will be tough for the next guy but the right guy always make things right. Very few schools get or have the right guy. Good luck to Goodpasture and the Coach that is now at Wynne. Well I don't figure after the "red flags" at Goodpasture that he would want the job now anyway but was just hoping to get him back in Tennessee and knew that was a job he was once interested in.
  2. I know a coach that applied for the job when it came open that has won every where he was been. He is a member of the Church of Christ, A Harding Graduate, and his team is currently ranked #1 in class 5A and 6th overall in the state of Arkansas. He was very high on Goodpasture, stating that if he was offered the job it would be where he would retire from. I think it is crazy that after seeing a resume like his that a coach with a below 500 record was hired for a job with the rich tradition of Goodpasture. If I was the administration at Goodpasture I would be giving that guy a call. I know for a fact if anyone can get them back to their winning ways it would be him. If you are curious to who he is look up Wynne High School, in Wynne Arkansas. He has been at Wynne since 2011 and completely turned the program around. Went 15-26 the previous four years before he arrived, in the middle of his fourth year he is 35-7. Good Luck on your search for a new head coach, maybe GP will get if right this time.
  3. Yeah and you must be the friend of a guy or the guy that got denigned the job. Yeah Gibson County Good Luck with a kid at the helm, cause you know the last five adults you have had done so good. lol! Gibson County needs someone to bring life and and motivation into that program. Someone who is going to recruit the halls, and get the kids excited about football. This is a great hire and I am excited for Gibson County. Jacket2557 better luck next time pal.
  4. Great hire! Young, smart, energetic, motivated, great role model, and great student of the game. You got a class act down at Gibson County that I guarantee will work tirelessly to get Gibson County on the map. Congrats GC and Coach Cruce!
