  1. Central beats Bradley head to head, places 2nd.  Bradley comes back through and places 3rd.  Bradley has been ranked above Central all season but then loses head to head.  Bradley is the better team.  Because theoretically they would win 2 of 3 if given the opportunity.

Makes all the sense in the world.

  2. The individual records of the Wildcat wrestlers would be different if their team was located in the Bradley/Cleveland area. They would also be better wrestlers come "Cow Arena" time if they faced tougher wrestlers during the season. They may actually have wrestlers with less than 5-8 losses during the season coming into the State tournament that don't place.

Can this argument be said for everyone not in Chattanooga? Would Garrison from Blackman be undefeated last year if he lived in the Chattanooga area? Better yet, would Tennessee State champs be state champs if they lived in Ohio?? Would murfreesboro football teams have great records if they lived in Knoxville? Would your name be HSDAD If your kid(s) were in college??

  3. I think if Raulston would've stayed at 195 and not dropped to 182 this year he would've had a good chance to win it. Lindsay Aragon should've won it his junior year(pinned the state champion that year in under a minute if I'm correct) Qauntal Langford definitely. Rex Shotts. Keegan Matlock possibly.

Some great names in this one. all have a legit case.

    Jason Mccrosky

truly! this kid was amazing and should have gotten himself at least one.

    Casey Brewster

casey is disqualified.  He won not only one but two tssaa titles.  he just fell short as a senior

  4. Could it be that a wrestling match is 6 minutes long and one kid wrestled for 6 minutes and the other wrestled for only 5?

Both are great kids but unfortunately one will have to lose. It's gonna be great for one and very unfortunate for the other. It's how it is.

119 you seem to always root against Central because of the bug up your bitt, so I'm assuming you were against the stalling.

  5. In response to your question, I'll answer with statistics.

After a closer review of only the unbalanced brackets with consideration given to the ranked wrestlers on the weaker side of the bracket it appears that several different teams from four different regions benefit.

Two from region 4 benefit being the favorite on the weaker side.

Two from region 5 benefit being the favorite on the weaker side.

Two from region 6 benefit being the favorite on the weaker side.

Five from region 7 benefit being the favorite on the weaker side.

These are the the top regions in the state. Regions 4, 5, and 6 all seem to get an equal amount of great draws due to the lop-sided brackets so I see this as a wash between these regions. Region 7 seems to benefit the most by getting 3 additional unbalanced draws in their favor.

This guy, who has been bragging the entire season on how great and wonderful region 4 is, and how no one other than them need to wrestle, now is bellyaching that they didn't get good draws.

If the region is as great as you have bragged all season, and they will be the only ones standing at the end, as you have said repeatedly, why cry about where you sit.  Just win as you predicted.

I would think that you would have bellyached so much last weekend, as they all were beating up on each other.  Now your wonderful kids get to beat up on everyone else, and you start your whine fest.

  6. you guys say that wilson county will never reach its full potential, yet they made the state finals last year.

you say they dodge the best mid tn has to offer, yet out of the 25 ranked teams last year they wrestled 20 of them.

you say they never schedule tough duals which is an outright disrespect to all the teams that they do wrestle, yet they have a big one that Coach Peck posted here with several of the tougher teams.

Why not just as men come out and say screw these kids and coaches;you cant stand them and will bash them online no matter what they do.

  7. ScottMike,

    1) there were 4 schools listed and you only singled 2 of the schools out as cheaters?

    2) if there were actual cheating going on would these coaches not only be fired but made an example of in the media?

    3) it seems that your stiffy for Soddy has lasted much longer than 4 hours and you need to seek medical attention.

  8. Who was crowing about how good they are? Btw, I'm not in any way affiliated with WC. I'm a region 5 guy who suffered a beating at the hands of WC. Also have you noticed that the consolation finals were all teams that WC has beaten this year. I ain't from WC, I'm not crowing, but saying they haven't beaten anyone is disrespectful to about 30 or so other teams that they have beaten including Soddy.

  9. You lack the ability to comprehend what you are reading. Also you do not understand wrestling enough to understand that when you weigh in for a wrestling dual you are actually qualifying yourself for two weight classes. You are out of your element and a Moran.

To make it clear to you, he is eligible for 138, but did not wrestle Central there.

Coach, i'm hoping that it is just an oversight that you left Zach Lusk off of your list at 138. He was the number one seed last year at the region tournament and is back this year. He beat the John Michael kid from Wilson Central last year and beat the Central kid again this year at his weight.
