Is there any news on potential candidates for this job? I know the coach resigned, but haven't seen it posted anywhere. Anybody?

The teams in this half of the bracket got the better end of the draw. I will say that SC will probably make the finals. Not bad for a team that is from a weak county, playing in a weak league.
-
I would never be in favor of seeing a system where teams are ranked. The NCAA can't get it right and it is a multi-billion dollar business. No thanks! The best team will win the tournament. They are the champions. Nothing else really matters.

Station Camp by 10 or more. Too many offensive weapons. Hillsboro by 10. Playing their best at the right time.

SC by 21

I don't think anyone will win the state championship "easily." I agree that SC has enough talent to get there and make noise. Independence is very good and can get there and do some damage.

SC in a rout!
-
Good hire. Yes he's unproven as a head coach, but he has a good background. Nice guy also.
-
Unfortunately 6AAA fan, it won't be a problem in Murfreesboro. No one in this region can beat Blackman, Riverdale, or Oakland.
-
How many games has Warren County already played overall?
-
Glad to see Eddie Jackson contributing for the Blue Devils.
He is contributing in a big way. I know he is a transfer. Where from?

Clay should be the clear favorite to continue undefeated and win this tournament. However there should be some good games between these 4 teams.
Chances are it will be Clay vs Jackson County in the finals but Macon Co could easily beat JC if they are off. I don't foresee Westmoreland beating Clay but anything can happen.
I think Macon Co has already beaten Jackson Co once this season. Correct?

Some good teams at Beech next Monday-Wednesday. Who y'all like? Station Camp and Beech could meet in the title game. SC faces a good Iroqouis team out of Louisville Monday at 2:30.
Not sure how good that Iroquois team is. They are currently 6-4 with a 44 point loss on the resume. Just because they are from Kentucky doesn't make them good. They should be little more than a speed bump to SC. The only way SC loses a game in this tourney is if they lay down.

Probably RHS. I am afraid that CHS is not as good as originally thought.

Here's the problem. There is no perfect system. Too many whiny people complaining. How about three classes across the board. If you're getting beat, try to get better. Works in all sports except football. LMAO

OPINION: I would have to believe that Clarksville is the team to beat. Quite a few returnees and Coach Young. However, I read on here that Rossview has picked up some really big, talented transfers. Coach Jackson is a good coach. Someone can verify that this is or is not true. Northeast looks to be solid with good athletes/talent and working with new coaching staff. Kenwood has good talent again as well, and they are coached well. Northwest has some quality pieces and Coach Turner did a great job last year. Not sure about West Creek, but they will probably be better in year two with these coaches. Anybody else?

I agree. I think Chicky has started his 4th account/username also. Even responds to himself. Surely all of the students from SC don't have the same poor use of grammar and spelling. Most embarrassing part of chicky being a Station Camp fan is, that he bashes the coach in the same post that he boasts about how great the team is.

Why did Creasy interview for the job if he didn't want to come here? It certainly wasn't to get a raise at TC, since he left anyway...
Lots of people interview, then aren't interested after they find out some things. Creasy was not leaving TC for Gallatin. Crabtree wasn't coming to Gallatin. Rankin wasn't coming to Gallatin. Maybe that's why they weren't offered the job. Not that the people making the decisions weren't smart. If a person leaves an interview and says "I'm not interested," you would be stupid to say publicly "we offered him the job."

A lot of positive talk from Maryville fans beating, probably a top 3 worst team in the state, 35-7.
I think that is called "class." More people should try it.
-
Obviously, there are several teams in 6A who have no business in the play-offs. How many of the 16 first round games will involve the use of the TSSAA, 35 point, running clock, mercy rule? Could there be as many as 8 (50%). What do you think? I believe that 6A will have the highest percentage of these first round games, of all classes. Am I wrong?

Hillsboro 28-14
Hendersonville 35-21
Beech 28-7
Independence 28-21

I will guarantee that Friday night will not be his last game at Lebanon. In fact, I would put money on it.

Gallatin loses. Everyone loses pride. Gallatin wins. A middle school team crys because the big boys pushed them around. Bison beat green wave. It's becoming regular.
College has been good for you Chickie. These posts are your most grammatically correct entries into this forum yet. You have even used some punctuation. Another few years and we won't be able to recognize your posts without looking at your screen name. Now do the same under the name Bisontruth and we will be completely impressed.

Honest mistake but Walter J. Baird is in Lebanon. Hope you weren't following him in Gallatin, because he never lived there.
