  1. I can see MJ in the top 5 right now, I have a friend and his son plays for Collierville, they can flat mash.
  2. If MJ keeps hitting the ball, the district is there's again. No question.
  3. I heard Godwin is pitching very well.
  4. Each coach and player is different, depends on how many pitches he threw on Tuesday, but lets say 90 I would think something like this Tuesday pitches Wednesday run Thursday light toss Friday light toss Saturday long toss Sunday short box Monday small bullpen Tuesday pitches If only on 4-5 days rest take out the Thursday, Friday, or Saturday depending on the how the player feels.
  5. He had a small issue, was out like a week, in the last two games he has about 7 RBI's and a HR ...he scheduled to throw this weekend. I think he is fine.
  6. MJ is undefeated in district play, with WCHS , LHS and SC left to play ... SC loses tonight to GHS, MJ has beaten GHS I would think MJ would be your favorite.... GHS is playing well though. But dang man how many times are they going to throw Beaty....? I would be afraid of 'dead arm'
  7. MJ started Caleb Chowbay, then Austin Smith then the closer Conner Sugg.... Sugg is pitching very well. It was a come from behind win for MJ.... pitching was up and down, a few errors thrown in as well and H'ville was in countrol .... H'ville pitching went south loade dup the bases then Kyle Smith hit one off the wall in center to get the Bears rolling the 6th..... Mj puts up 10 runs in the 6th and 7th .... not pretty but a win
  8. MJ over H'ville 12-8 slugfest
  9. I have since apologized for spreading mis-information about the injury, I thought I was getting reliable info.
  10. I guess i got bad information on the injury, from what I thought was a reliable source, for that I apologize, good luck to the kid at Vol State, and yes I agree with you, he should not have been at Vandy in the first place.
  11. What is the district schedule this week? Monday MJ @ Portland Tuesday MJ @ H'ville
  12. MJ was 4-1 started a soph. against Mason Ohio he gave up 2 runs in 4 1/3.... looked good........threw 72 pitches and was ready to come out , and the coaches had enough sense to take him out and not let him throw 124 pitches. MJ beat Clarksville NW, Mason Ohio, Hilliard Ohio, and St. Benedict... lost to USJ .... pitching/hitting was not there in the USJ game. I have a HS buddy and his kid plays for Collierville, he said they can hit 1-9 As far as the Hanson kid, Vandy did not hurt this kid... Beech over used him same thing with the Gallatin kid, I saw him pitch he's got talant, and if they keepthis up he will have dead-arm first then injury
  13. 124 pitches in one game is off the charts crazy at this age, ANY shoulder surgeon ASMI anyone will tell you that's nuts..... add up the 20 pre-game 6 between innings and you have what 186 pitches fast forward to the next game Mason Ohio on short rest and he threw another 20 to warm up and by your own admission another 31 in the game... and that's 237 pitches....I'm glad you get a good chuckle you freakin retard...you don't have a clue about what you are talking about. The kids shoulder is turning to mush throwing this much.. have you ever seen any pictures of injured shoulders? it's not pretty....I sure the kid would liek to avoid shoulder surgery and or TJ surgery the top out for a sr high school pitcher should be 80-85 pitches and 5 days rest
  14. I said in an earlier post that Gallatin was not too good after 1,2 pitchers.... so are you saying that SC lost to Overton?
  15. MJ 5-4 over St. Benedict Josh Smith & Conner Sugg pitchers.
  16. where's the parent, parent has to step up and say something
  17. MJ 3-2 over Mason Ohio.... Austin Smith, Campbell Scholl pitchers for MJ MJ 13-4 over Hilliard Ohio ... Brandon Smith , Logan Johnston pitchers for MJ
  18. MJ 14 Clarksville NW 2
  19. Josh Smith started for MJ went 3 ..... Campbell Scholl came in for 3 innings and Conner Sugg closed it
  20. Gallatin pitcher threw well, tired near the end of the game. MJ pulled it off with a pass ball wins 3-2.... MJ stranded 13 baserunners, their bats are getting better. Defense solid, starter got in a jam in the 3rd, mid reliver and closer got the jobs done. Beech @ MJ tomorrow.....
  21. 9AAA Tuesday games Gallatin @ MJ Portland @ WC SC @ H'ville Beech @ Lebanon
  22. No I don't think so.... it would be a fun game. Couple of things I took from the game I saw.... FC's infield is a bit suspect, the outfield looked good but I saw 5 infield errors, you can get away with that against weak teams, not strong teams. Hitting, FC batters not good with curve balls, and the pitching for Gallatin was 78-79 at best. Wood looked good...kept the ball down, got a ton or fly outs, I see his velo increasing as the season goes along
