was this ever posted on the AAU website ? I never saw it . But there is no way my son can get out of school here in Brentwood @ 4:30 est. and make it there in time anyway . We have always enjoyed coming there , but I am sure the boss (see wife) would not allow him to miss school to come . I guess we are headed to Clarksville instead .

Just wanted to drop a line and thank all the people from SSS for another great tournament . Both my boys and most the Copperheads came home with hardware ! On a side note , I didn't see one incident of inferior refs . Saw a few coaches make a butt out of their selves , but thats the norm . Only real disapointment was not getting to see ginger . . . .

I am sorry to have asked about Nashville Catholic coming . Didn't mean to swat a hornets nest . My son (7) has a good friend that wrestles for them and was hoping they would be there . Next time I will just call his Dad . SHEEEEZ

Thank you for the kind words , BuckLateral . I am one of the "coaching Dads" . I got tricked into wrestling about 7 yrs. ago . My son called me @ work and said coach wants me to wrestle , cause he says I am the right weight . Because of Copperheads he went to state 3 times in High School finishing 4th once. We started back when you went anywhere you could find a tournament . Just like Bearcat & Mr. Cleveland had posted stories about, a few weeks past . My son would wrestle kids in his weight class named J.M. Simpson , Bauki , Konz , and Cash became better after each match . We would face other clubs like Mocsters from Chattanooga . And still faced them all during Middle & High School . I have a 13 & 8 yr. olds wrestling now . And wouldn't give it up for anything ! Now adays if you expect you child or School or team to make any noise , you better start young . I would rather wrestle in a singlet than dribble in my shorts !!!! ps. to 99ginger - great Coaches room @ Dickson tourn. I gained 3#

Thanks for the information . I know Copperheads is bringing a team from Brentwood . The Sharpshooters beginners tourn. was great last weekend . They always do it right . I just hope the parents from one of the clubs will try and be more mature . They were down beating on the mat and yelling at the wrestlers . Seems like too much pressure for Tots and Bantams .

John Mark Sloan is really good . He didn't get alot of matt time last year , wrestling behind some kid named Dunning ...

I agree , you appear to be showing out of date ranklings . Do you not use tournament results , with head to head matches ?
