Team 1 - Post 17 American Legion Team 2 - 13u team Team 3 - 14u team Team 4 - college travel team Team 5 - summer travel team Team 6 - Gallatin High School The American Legion team and the High School team could put on and remove the tarp with no problem. If you have ever rolled a tarp out and rolled one up you should know that a team of 13 and 14 year olds can not do this. When most of the teams only carry 11- 13 players

Gallatin may have played their two best games of the year tonight. In the first game they beat Hendersonville, Jones for Gallatin pitched his best game of the year, solid defense and timely hitting helped the Wave advance to the second game if the night. Gallatin could not manage many hits in the second game against SC, Haeberle pitched well for SC and Replogle also threw a really good game for the Wave. Tonight SC had a few more hits than the Wave and those hits turned into runs. The Wave could not push anything across the plate in the second game. Good luck to Coach Ballard and Coach Jones, continue to win. Agreed you guys bust your tails everyday to maintain the fields . If Gallatin wanted to play Saturday the parks dept would have had the field ready to play. Gallatin has never had a tarp to cover the entire infield. Props to Wase Bruce and Troy Martin for the jobs they do with the fields

JUCO is the best way to go for a lot of these players. Play early, get core school work out if the way and show the larger schools that you can play.

Wow! How far has Gallatin athletics fallen, first the boys basketball team gets beat by Portland and now the baseball team gets beat 3-2 at Portland. The Panthers have averaged giving up 6 runs per game in their defeats and all we can score is 2 runs in the game. It does not matter how bad the umps were, there is no excuse for only scoring 2 runs. Any way congrats to Portland on their first district win of the season

Bears could roll out the JV squad and beat WC. I know WC beat the Wave earlier in the season. Never should of happend, the Wave should of used the momentum from the SC win as a spring board but as usual they came out flat that night after a big game.

Monday Gallatin vs Portland at Portland Tuesday Portland vs Gallatin at Gallatin. Gallatin should take care of business this week, but that is why the games are played. The Wave need to be focused on the task at hand.

Hendersonville will be minus 9 players this week, the nine are serving a week long suspension from a spring break mistake. Beaty threw a no hitter with 14 K's.

Baseball is a game, games are supposed to be fun . When I watch the kids from Galatin the looks on their faces are not the looks of someone having fun. Loosen up play the game the right way and have fun. If it is no longer fun, quit and do something you enjoy.

Nice bounce back win tonight for the Wave. Ryan Replogle pitched 6 strong innings for the win, Jake McCollum came on to record the final 3 outs for the save. If you have not seen the SS for Hume-Fogg play,you are missing a really solid player and he pitches very well also.

Big win for Beech tonight or should I say huge give away from Gallatin. Beech commits 6 or 8 errors and still wins. The Wave need more timely hitting from the top to the bottom and for goodness sakes please learn how to put the sacrifice bunt down. There is a reason why it is called sacrifice bunt , you are at the plate trying to move the runner over.

Big win for the Green Wave tonight , beat Beech 4-2. Beaty pitched well for the victory and Baker came in for the save. Beech pretty much run themselves out of the game, terrible base running from the Bucs. Gallatin needs to use this win as a stepping stone to the rest of the season and not a STUMBLING BLOCK. A lot of the time the emotion of a big game does not carry over to the next game for the Wave.

This will be a big week for the Gren Wave . We need at least a split with Beech. A sweep would put the Wave in a good spot .

The team needs to learn how to use a big win as a stepping stone to the next game. You can not only get up for certain games,we need to have the confidence evry time the uniform is put on.

Hume-Fogg has a pretty good team 1-5 hitters are real solid at the plate. I do not remember the pitchers name who pitched against Gallatin, but on any given night the young man can beat anyone.

Mr. Armstrong should have had a meeting with his umpires prior to the season. The umpires need to let the pitchers establish the inside part of the plate, with these new bats the pitchers no longer need to get the one or two ball off the plate strike.
