Riverdale has both their 1 and 2 pitchers returning in Underlan and Choate. Replacing their catcher and 3rd basemen for the last several years will be tough. Possibly losing returning 1st basemen Wright, to injury, could complicate things. But a good core group with Gill, Jones, Underland, Hunter, & Choate returning could be strong.
siegel could be special. They played everybody tough last year and has, virtually everyone returning. Their entire infield returns and is solid with Tobbitt anchoring 3rd base again. Pitching will be solid with Kenneth Roberts returning and another lefty transferring in will help. Pitching depth and consistent hitting will decide if this team will be in the hunt this year or not.
Cookeville- lost several, returning several. Losing some players up the middle and star pitching Alcorn will hurt, but there is talent in Cookeville. The Cavs are a team that can beat you or cost you a game preparing for them.
Oakland has several key players returning with Watson behind the plate and McCleary on the mound. Patterson and Burnett up the middle rounds the team out pretty solidly. Jay Farmer is returning with a 6-0 pitching record last year and they have a transfer in Barns that will factor in. I have heard the lefty pitcher/1B has an injury that has ended his season already. Everyone says this team will hit the baseball though!
Warren Co. should play the role as spoiler, if not contend. There is still a Bratcher playing up there (for like 10 years it seems now) and Coby Killian is back as a their ace and just a junior I believe. Heard he is throwing 88mph. That will win a least a split in the double header district series they play.
