I've made a document that has the steps to become a TN TSSAA ref.
I won't get into any arguments here, but thought this resource would be good to post around to recruit more refs. Feel free to share with graduating seniors and ex-wrestlers that might be interested.
Good luck to everyone (including the refs) at State.

Highest finish in AAA for Wilco since then. Nolensville and Fairview have both had runner up finishes the last two seasons in A/AA and Fairview won A/AA this year. Some quality wrestling in Williamson County these days.

Coach Peck what email address do you use now?
I have lots of them but they all work. Just don't cc all of them it get annoying getting the same email 5-6 times. Just pick any email you've ever had for me and it still works.

I assume some tournaments will get canceled and coaches will scramble to find new places, which is why I reposted this info. I don't know what the season will look like but, I assume some coaches will host tournaments that haven't done so before (or in a long time), as restrictions come out. Anyway I just thought having the list/website would help everyone.
Hope everyone stays healthy,
Josh

if you are looking for tournaments or want to advertise your tournament my site will continue to run this year. After this year hopefully the TSSAA or someone else will take over running it.
Good luck

check out rankwrestlers.com it's like $20 a year but it'll rank everyone based on what is in Trackwrestling. It's not perfect but it works.

Bump.

Remember you can put summer freestyle and Grecco tournaments as well.

I'm trying to start a database of all camps and tournaments in TN. This will hopefully make it easy for coaches to find tournaments and camps to go to in TN (and around). So if you are looking for a tournament or camp or Hosting a tournament or camp please check out wrtourneys.com
It is completely free, and if you have any suggestions please send them my way.
Thanks,
Josh

If you are a coach please vote at the coach's meeting on Saturday if you want things run differently. If you are a parent please tell your coach your opinions and have him/her vote at the coach's meeting Saturday morning.

Hello, the deadline was the 22nd. Coaches now go in and enter head to head info. If you have any questions please feel free to email me.

Thanks for a well run tournament, plenty of space and done by around 3pm is a success in my book!

That helps too !

Coach Paul Hambrick (Franklin Coach) was very successful and never was a wrestler. He took over after Jeff Jordan retired for the first time. He learned from Coach Jordan and bought books and VHS tapes. I think these days it'd be easier to learn from all the resources on Youtube and Kolat.com. When I first started I used the unofficial coaches survival guide (it's really dated but very good). I also used Coaching wrestling successfully. Of course all these books predate the internet, so there might be better more useful stuff now.
