  1. CC travels to Creekwood next Friday! The senior Cubs have never beat Creekwood!
  2. The Cubs hopefully have their mind right going into this game. I'm sure Coach Finley and the whole coaching staff has been reminding them that they are 1-2 against Waverly.
  3. If a three way tie does occur. Would it go by record on who gets the district championship?
  4. Another bias opinion towards CC. The run game is absolutely sick. I haven't got a chance to see the "new" Fairview team, however the team I saw play against CC week 0, got beat up pretty bad. Injuries will happen under any circumstance. But when you have a team that throws the ball less then 5 times a game and has a monster O-Line. Your team is gonna be beat up. But once again the bias opinion comes into play. Also I want to point out. The dream games that fans could see in the playoffs (that involve CC of course) Fairview vs CC 2. CPA vs CC 2. And from what I've seen on the forums. Some people even say Milan vs CC would be a great match up.
  5. What if CPA does the same and wins out? Will it go to points scored throughout the year?
  6. If any Waverly fans are on here. Last years Wavey team had a huge ex-gaurd as their QB. Is he still there?
  7. Let's hope we found out how good this Milan team I keep hearing about is. Milan vs. Cheatham County would be one to watch.
  8. I believe CC tight end is every bit of 6'5. That would be #87. The right tackle is probably 6'4ish and around 280. The other interior lineman range from 6ft to 6'3. All seniors. They are quite the group to watch.
  9. Did #4 replace him during the weeks he was gone?
  10. Another good match up could be Cheatham County vs. Fairview 2. I hear a lot of talk about the LB Wall.
  11. With a region championship in their sights, The Cubs will travel to Waverly, who lossed to a winless Creekwood last night. Predictions?
  12. Let's hope to see another Cheatham County vs CPA (gives me goosebumps to say it) but this time it will be in Ashland City.
  13. I've heard this is a very different FV team since week 0, when they lost a huge game to a pretty good CC team. I would hope to see #21 and #10 make a ton of plays this game. Even if it is against the powerhouse that is Giles County.
  14. Cheatham County has had one of the best starts in the history of the school at 6-0. With the rest of their schedule leaning towards a 10-0, will these young boys who started out as Freshman playing for a 1-9 team who would eventually start varsity that same year be able to live up to the hype? CC has a huge, physical, and mean O-line that is full of seniors which this week return the right tackle who hasn't played for a couple of weeks. A couple of running backs who can't make plays from anywhere on the field. Both in the top 10 of rushing yards. #11 from CC is one of the best in this whole district. A pure play maker. The pass game hasn't been opened up this year, but there is a reason for that. They haven't had to use it, with a huge O-line and a couple of backs who hit the holes hard there is no reason to pass the ball if your backs constanstly running for 100-200 yards a game each. The D-line is a major part of the team as a whole. They all have engines that never seem to stop. This was shown against a pretty good FV team whom which were held to 2 goal line stands by the CC defense. The LB's are all Juniors and come to play. A secondary that was weak against a passing onslaught by Mount Pleasant has held their ground as of late and is improving each game. With Stewart County on the rise this week, This win will clinch a playoff spot of the Cubs. What is everyone's opinion on the Cheatham County Cubs?
  15. I've heard alot about this team from looking at the Preseason top 10's. And from hearing about the HUGE offensive line that Cheatham Co. has with players like #87 #67 and #76 , along with the weapons in the backfield like #11. But I haven't seen a passing game from Cheatham, and even with the big O-Line. You can't just run the ball. However, It seems in the last year, that is all Cheatham has had to do. Do you think this powerhouse offense, and a smashmouth defense will be enough to beat out contenders like Camden, Fairview, and maybe if you meet again, CPA?
