either way still shouldnt have happend. I agree with wut u said about the refs the game was very PHYSICAL and wut i liked was that they missed calls for us and McEwen so they didnt lean towards one team more than the other. I thought it was reffed like games should be.

I thought it was a very good game by both teams. It will be another good one when the 2 meet again. Good job McEwen and good luck the rest of the year and we will see you again soon. I do have to say though Pucket didnt impress me that much. He was good but with out the height he would just be average. I thought it was pretty funny when he got packed to go up for a dunk tho. How does a 6'7 guy get packed like that? Good game tho and hats off to McEwen.

It was a good game by both teams. It will be another good one when they play again at McEwen. The game is being played at Heritage. Try and make it if you can it will be a good one. And JCA football im not gonna make an A@# out of myslef. I said it will be a great game and both teams have an equal chance at winning. I was simply saying dont underestimate the Pats because they are a very talented team as is McEwen. GO PATS!!

Junior Destin Miller will be key in stopping Puckeet. Although East is verty tall none have the strength of Miller. He is a good defensive player and hopefully he will stay out of foul trouble. Im taking Heritage by 7. Will be a good game in a battler for 1st. GO PATS!!

I think Jared Hill of White House Heritage is one of the best 3 point shooters in the state. He was 8 of 8 against East and is in the top 10 in 3 pointers made in Middle TN.

Im not sure exactly what schools are looking at her. A few JUCO schools, I think mabe Belmont and Byron...not sure tho....But I believe shes good enough to go some where better than a JUCO school. GO PATS!!

I have no clue y the coach was yellling at the her brother i hadnt even heard anythin about it...ill try and remember to ask about it tho. Yes losing Redding and Crunk were huge losses to the team. Redding had 2 concussions this year and Krunk had to wear a neck brace for a while. So yes they were pretty serious injuries and I wouldnt risk their basketball career at such a young age. Especially with as talented as they are. I would make sure they were able to stay for a while. GO PATS!!

Glad to see someone agreeing with me and picking Heritage by 7. Thanks Nator. I agree with everything u said.....The Pats have to stay our of trouble and shut down Puckett.....The Pats have Junior Destin Miller who doesnt have the height like Puckett but i guarantee is stronger than him. Miller will be kee in stopping Pucket down low. Coach P is a great coach and he will know wut 2 do to stop the big man. Brandi Redding of White House heritage is definitely one of the better freshmen that I have seen this year. Before her season ending injury she was doing very good. She played a game or 2 on the varsity level as an 8th grader last year.

JCAFOOTBALL: I just want to point to you that Heritage has also beaten East once earlier in the season and they beat Houston Co. twice.....didnt Houston Co. beat McEwen?....thats wut i thought....so how bout u think about wut u are sayin b4 u make an a#& out of yourslef

I believe the future is very good for this very young team. Jacie is the only senior on the team with no juniors. They have skilled young players who will only continue to get better. Chelsea Hanna has really stepped it up and is playing at a high school level and is only in 8th grade. Look for Brandi Redding to fill in the shoes of Jacie after the season. She is very talented and is a great young leader. Sorry if I am making her feel pressured at all. She had a season ending injury at the Christmas tournament that was a huge blow to the team but others have stepped up to contribute. Natalie Krunk, Ashley Martin, Becky Kania, and Brittany Shorter are also young and talented. Good luck to all of them in the future. GO PATS!!

Jacie Slagle of White House Heritage is one of the top female basketball players in the state. Her skills and knowledge of the game are incredible.

Thats to bad that McEwen lost a top player. Im not being sarcastic saying that. I like when evreyone is healty especially starters. I hope he gets healthy soon. GO PATS!!

Im gonna go even more againt everyon and sey heritage by 7. I hope im right. It will be a great game untill late in the 4th quarter and as long as the Patriots can stay out of foul troule they will win. GO PATS!!!

McEwen is 14-1 with their only loss coming to Houston Co. Heritage is 15-5 but only 2 losses coming from the regular season. One was to CPA and the other to East Robertson. Blusebro is right when it comes to McEwen having a weak record. Im not sayin they arent very talented just saying not good enough for someone to be asking who is gonna stop them? The only tough team they have played is East.

Sorry DRIKA there is a girls player for East that is named DRIKA andi mistaked her 4 u. Yes Kerry Singer did play at White House a few years back. Jacie was hurt but shes a tough girl and will be back against McEwen. Redding is out for the season and so is Crunk. Those were 2 very tough losses for the season.

I have also heard that Dupree was leaving after the season. I think assistant coach Kerry Singer will take over but im not postive......As for Jacie she is one of the best female basketball players I have seen play at the High School level. Yes DRIKA she does shoot a lot but she is coached to do that. Im not sayin the other players arent good im sayin that when u have someone like Jacie and the other players are so young y not let her shoot. And if you notice the other players look for Jacie instead of looking for a shot ne wayz so she doesnt have much of a choice but to shoot. She was also the leading scorer of the team in she played at White House so its not like she can only do it at Heritage. Keep up the good work Jacie and dont let the bashing of other ppl get in the way of how well u have been doing this year. By the way DRIKA had 39 points scored on her when she was guarding Jacie.....mabe that could be the reason for the bashing GO PATS!!

Final score of the game was Heritage 68 Houston Co. 56. Great defense by sophmore Taylor Jarell held Bell to only 3 points. Heritage now improves to 7-1 in the district and 6-2 in the region. Keep up the hard work and good luck againts McEwen. GO PATS!!

The Pats know this is a big and very important game and they will be prepared to win this. It will be a close game. (hopefully) GO PATS!!! What are your predictions for the game on Friday? Both teams are having very successful years. This is a very important district game for both teams who have only lost one district game. It should be a very good game that i will most definitely attend.

McEwin and White House Heritage play this Friday night. It will be a great matchup between 2 very good teams. For those of u who do not think Heritage is a contender will see wut they are made of after Friday. Im not predicting a win im just sayin they have a really good chance of it and if they do lose it wont be by much. Hopefully they will play to the ability i know they are capable of so i dont bite my words lol. McEwin is a very good team but hopegully the pats can pull it off and earn some more well deserved respect. They are earning it little by little and this could be a huge step for the young successful program. GO PATS!!

Heritage beat Houston County tonight. Not sure of exact score....sumthin like 60 sumthin to 50 so they won decently big. Heritage continues to have a successful season and good luck to them the rest of tje year. especially againts McEwin on Friday. Will be a great game. GO PATS!!!!

There is no doubt that this district has many great teams. Mcewin i think has the best team but watch out for Heritage and East. Both teams are very talented and if they play to their capabilty can beat almost any team there is. Houston Co. is a tough team but I believe Mcewin will show that the last game is a fluke. I think the District is up for grabs between Mcewin, East, and Heritage.

In the last match up heritgaae won by 4. They were down early and battled back to win by 4. They can not underestimate Houston Co. in any way. Houston Co. gave Mcewin its only loss of the season. I think Heritage will pull of the win over Houston Co again.
