  1. Thanks Tim. Junior and MS division usually have the biggest tournout. We are expecting 300+ wrestlers. We already have teams committed from VA, TN, NC and WV. Possibly KY, GA and MD as well. We are also looking at having 5 mats.
  2. Since we are so close to several surrounding states and some teams have USA, some have AAU and some teams don't have any cards; We DO NOT require cards at our tournament. We already have several teams committed from NC, VA, TN, WV already. This should make for some great competition! We are expecting 300+ wrestlers. Common' down and enjoy the great hospitality room, great stadium chair seating and most of all...great wrestling with certified VHSL refs!
  3. Don't have the space or time to get professional team/individual pictures made at your club? We will have a professional photographer who will be taking team and individual pictures at the Battle-Cat Open! For all teams who bring 10+ wrestlers, they will receive a free 8X10 team picture. These pictures will be infront of a green screen so you can send the photographer your team logos to incorporate with your pictures! Prices start at just $15. We will also have a professional souvenir t-shirt company on site selling tournament shirts. Let your wrestlers and parents know so they can come prepared! Thanks!

  6. Ok guys. I just ran accross this site tonight. I am the head coach of the club everyone is talking about. Look us up, www.battlecatwrestling.com. We were a 1st year club in 2011-2012. I contacted Don Barnett and Daryl Lauderdale about registering our club as a TN club BEFORE the season started. We are actually less than 5 miles away from the boarder of TN in Bristol, VA. The problem we run into in VA is the closest AAU State tournament is in Richmond or the VA Beach area which is about 7+hours away on the other side of the state. Our club really appreciates and thanks Team Tennessee for having this rule in place. Let me clear some things up about all these false allegations about my wrestler and our club. This should resolve 100% of the issues: 1. The wrestlers name is Connor Bailey. Yes, he lived in Rural Retreat, VA..IN 2010. He moved to BRISTOL, TN. He IS a wrestler from TENNESSEE. Case Closed. 2. Connor Bailey wrestled in 3+ tournaments in Tennesse this year. 2nd validation he was not just approved from living in the state, but also met the minimum qualifications. If you look Connor Bailey up on track wrestling, it will show he is from Rural Retreat because his parents haven't had a chance to update his information on track and have had more important things going on in their life right now. Connor will still be a Midget again next year and will be on the prowl for his 2nd consecutive AAU TENNESSE State Title. Thank you all, John Almany battlecatwrestling@gmail.com www.battlecatwrestling.com
