  1. First off I have NEVER attacked another wrestler in the Top 100 I am actually friends with most of the parents, they are fantastic wrestlers and I enjoy watching every single one of them and I am also supportive of everyone of those young men on the top 100 it is hard to get through the belt series. I am not mad my son did not win, I am clear that my son did not do his best on the mat. I would appreciate it if you kept your comments about me personally to yourself. YOU do not know me or my family. So you do not know how my family is or is not taking the loss of the state tournament. I ask that you keep your comments to the issue at hand. The three tournament thing IS a rule and a requirement and I do know that he did not because I researched it because I want it corrected. I am not trying to come across as a nut, I am only doing what any good mother does when her son is not getting what is fair. That is a parent. With that said I am done here, spouting about this on a forum does nothing.
  2. I agree my son has been wrestling for five seasons so he is not a new wrestler. That said RULES ARE RULES. You cannot look at parents and say you have to stick to these rules and then refuse to enforce them. The child from VA should be disqualified. His win is not legitimate. I am not done with this fight for my son, he wrestles, hurt, bruised, tired, sick and he does it because he wants to do the best for his sport. Cameron has a true passion for wrestling. I will continue to argue with the AAU about this situation and I will be at the annual meeting. If you are going to scream rules rules rules then enforce them and when someone violates them, do something about it.
  3. Madmike's description is our sons situation since he is my husband. So your response is not helpful. All we want is for our son to get his points. That's it. It is not a stupid or ridiculous argument because if it was your child you would feel the same way.
  4. I would be less concerned about the rules and more concerned about who is even enforcing them. The AAU has specific guidelines for out of state competitors, question is who is checking to see if these kids are fair and square. I don't care if my kid was beat by the kid from VA, I just want it to be a fair fight.
  5. I am sure this has already been addressed somewhere on here, but the issues with TNAAU wrestling and out of state wrestlers. I don't mind the rules as printed and do not object to them, but who enforces them? My son lost a state title to a kid who should not have even been there to begin with because he was ineligible to compete, this was brought to the powers that be attention this morning and they are not going to fix it.
