Columbia moved the ball and gave up 3 scores from special teams ... beech is a solid team , but not drinking that kool-aide that they will run the table in 5A . Columbia was playing with numerous players hurt on defense .... from what I saw tonight the door to 5A is open ... kudos to Beech being a good football team but not the truth , I think if Summitt had Tai Carter back Summitt could give Beech quite the game... don’t sleep on Hillsboro !!

Summit with Carter is a very tough team bc they also put him in the middle of the field and he makes all the wrongs right, and saves a good chunk of plays that would normally go for touchdowns.... they have enough kids talented enough to carry the rock but it is his impact making the defense more athletically where he will be missed ... their wings can play and they are a sound football team that is well coached!! Back to my lions in their game with Summit, our special teams had some breakdowns due to trying to make it by not using starters and it backfired and summit had 3 touchdowns due to having a short porch easy scores and 1 punt return for a touchdown and Columbia left 3 scores on the field ... not making excuses but I know Coach Coleman doesn't want to play us either... He with Carter out he can't match our speed!!! , and the past few games the special teams personnel looks much better! If Columbia beats page tonight, they will have favorable matchups!!! Tonight will be fun across the state tonight with major playoff implications. Go Lions and Good Luck , and Safe Travels for all who are on the road tonight! Stay Warm and Dry.

So much talk and no one is speaking up for the Lions so here we go...... Super Dynamic at times with major matchup problems... Their line has some really big High School Lineman and they have 5 guys who are either faster than your fastest guy or as just as fast and yes that includes you Hillsboro (who they have already worked with, this summer ).... Gave Shelbyville's qb major problems with their athletic secondary and really quick D-Line believed their qb threw for 600 the game before and less than 150 against Columbia.... I know Gallatin is wanting to play page bc they are worrying about matching up with Columbia's athleticism... So All eyes will be on our game vs. Page, you guys are sleeping on this district ... other than beech this group can beat any of the remaining teams and should be fun games to keep an eye on ... top to bottom our district was way more competitive than yours!! Gallatin is a solid program and caught Hillsboro at tough time .... but didn't beat station camp all that well, and Columbia works with them every year and beats them like a drum! Can't wait to see how all this plays out.

Rumor has it Dante Smith, Oden, and Johnson got threw punches in the Riverdale Game, and are looking at a game or 2 suspension. But haven't been able to validate any of the rumors. Anyone have any insight?

Columbia is a tire fire something worse than Franklin County's situation.
