You are right, it is 1-1 as far as last year goes. It's Giles 6-1 in the past 6 years. So I would say we pretty much own Marshall County. I thought ole brokeback was an idiot until the most ignorant poster on coacht revealed himself as EXFOOTBALL65. We also dominated Hightower, who is a great player.

Should be a good scrimmage. Giles played Forrest last night. We were up 29-0 at halftime, with our backup QB playing the entire first half. He looked really sharp, QB controversy? ha just kidding, but he has a bright future. Score wasn't kept in the second half but the starting QB came in and we scored 2 or 3 TD's and shutout Forrest.

Who are we scrimmaging tomorrow night?

I know this is looking ahead quite a bit, but I can't wait for the Marshall Co. game this year. This thread is getting me hyped up.

You know as well as I do that every team matches up different. These facts you are stating mean nothing. Every week is a different ballgame. With your logic, we should have never been able to beat Marshall Co. in the playoffs after losing to them earlier in the season.

I don't know all of the facts, but if he did inquire about some Marshall Co. players that has nothing to do with not believing in your team. He just wants to have the best team possible. Of course we put down Marshall Co., they are one of our biggest rivals! It wouldn't be american to love a rival sports team!

One would think they would be used to getting beat by Giles after 5 years of dominance. I guess their one win has blinded them to all of the whippings we have put on them in the last five years.

I've been out of the loop for a little while now, but what exactly has OC done that makes District12AA and Cowgirl think the hammer is going to be lowered on the Giles program?

Nothing wrong with talking about the kid if it's football related and not personal. He did shank the kick, that is a fact. So it's not really that big of a deal. Bo's actually doing pretty good from what I heard during SEC media days. Coach Freeze said that him and Brunetti would begin the season as co-starters...not too bad I think. That's what I heard as well Bobcat93. It's a shame these schools are losing a chance to bring in some much needed money, but oh well. If the trash talking is the reason Giles shouldn't get to play Marshall Co., Page or Lawrence Co. either. It's a part of the game.

Does anyone know why this scrimmage got canceled? Does the education fund scandal have anything to do with it?
