Reminder: The Akadema Pro Dodgers are forming as a new team created with some of the best talent in the Middle Tennessee area. This team is for those players having an interest in playing college baseball only. The emphasis will be on preparing, developing, and providing opportunities to achieve the goal of playing college baseball. We will be attending some of the best tournaments in the southeast with an emphasis on college showcase events. Our paid coaching staff will be made up of both former college and professional players and coaches. The coaching staff has both dedicated and proven hitting and pitching instructors that know what it takes to get to the next level and how to get you there. The 13U Mid Tenn Bruins are looking for players to fill out their roster for 2013. This team was started with the nucleus of the 2012 Little League United States Champions out of Goodlettsville, TN that received so much media attention this past summer. The head coach of this team is James Davis, an experienced coach that has coached at all levels including college. He will lead this team not only to improve their baseball skills, but lead them to be excellent young men. The Tryout is scheduled for this Saturday, November 11th at 4:30pm on the baseball field at JPII (John Paul II) High School. Although this team is based in the Goodlettsville/Hendersonvill area, the tryout is open to any and all players in all areas. It is not necessary to set up an appointment, just show up ready to play. The Mid Tenn Bruins extend an open invitation to any prospective players who wish to participate in open tryouts for the 2013 season. The Bruins are led by Coach Harold Herman, who has extensive experience coaching players of all ages including college baseball. We are coming off another successful season and looking to build on our success, while training our players for college level in addition to being competitive, respectful, exceptional young men. All potential players from any area are encouraged to attend. Try-outs will be held Saturday, August 11th from 10am - 1pm and Sunday, August 12th from 2pm - 5pm at the Davidson Academy baseball field located at 1414 Old Hickory Boulevard, Nashville, TN. The 15U Mid Tenn Bruins is a competitive travel ball team that will be playing in various tournaments and games during the 2013 summer season. The team is based on the premise of preparing the kids for college level baseball and becoming competitive, respectful, exceptional young men. Although based out of the Hendersonville, TN area, all prospective players from any area are encouraged to attend our open tryouts August 11th and 12th for the 2013 season. If selected, there will be instructional skills opportunities during the off season to prepare for the 2013 summer season.
