Congratulations to Notre Dame on their fine victory !! Usually the bigger stronger faster team will will 100% of the time. I don't believe any team in Notre Dame's region will be able to compete with Notre Dame's talent. It will be interesting to see how far they go in the playoffs.
Letter to Notre Dame high school:
Please inform your students ( and looked like some parents) that a fence is there for a purpose.
We will just assume they didn't know where the entrance gate was located ( I guess it's just part of " big boy" football .)
Anyway , have a great rest of the year ND !!

agree CCS has gotten better; they beat lookout valley by 7 more than they did last year (43 to 0 vs 50 to 0)....and this years loss to ND was by 29 vs 35 last year......North Red Bank Mountain stamped bout a 35 point difference on them last year....Troll, this year is all on you to proove they are only makin 7 point gains on teams this year....yall are in a really bad funk; but surley yall aint this bad.....dont mess this up and leave it up to Grace Baptist to settle this discussion

it ain't rocket science guys : it's all about the players , There's a reason colleges spend multimillion dollars on recruitment
Price was good at cultivating the community and getting players, Notre Dame couldn't even beat CCS until Coach Fant and their evangelism to inner-city kids to Convert to Catholicism ,
Kids are born with their aggressiveness and enhanced by their living environment, two-way player with aggression is better than a two-way player that is just mediocre ,
Baylor and McCallie are going to always get the cream of the crop,
we are going to always be sloppy seconds
65 average players are no better than 25 average players
Its the 10% different makers that are going to be the difference, who has them Is the key
right now it looks like Notre Dame !!

33 in pads. Two more open lockers. Still a good team and will win some games.
I heard the number is 27 and potential of a couple more "high profile players" on the fence. I'm all for "tough coaches".... but sometimes it's not always because players are too soft.

Memo to coach price and signal mtn., yes you are a good team but don't have the gall to play up in the playoffs , you ain't that good !! Don't forget, Your state title came in 2a!! Of course with bill retiring, hopefully new coach will be a little smarter and stay within his means and get back to reality !!

Signal wins the game about 35-21
for 3 reasons:
1) Signal is a more physical team
2) speed is important but this is a football game not a track meet where the fastest guy wins.
Signal has adequate speed at other positions not just the skilled ones. thus making the speed issue more equal.
3) Notre Dame selling their home game for tainted McCallie money ( usually not a wise move). I have to admit , it is difficult for visiting teams to play at the golden domers, especially when you have unfriendly fans standing 2 feet behind you while on the sidelines ( a distraction).
By moving the game you will have as many if not more SM fans.
At least we will know by late tonight who was right !!
You know the saying " Hail Mary full of Grace, Notre Dame in second place" !

Batman1 Get over it. There was an investigation No rules were broken. Think about this one. I dont want to speak for him but I assume our head coach has aspirations of coaching college ball one day. Now forget the fact he is a man of honor and integrity. Why would he jeopardize his chances to do just that. For a win! Get real! He is not some hick from the mountain. Who is trying to impress his friends. He is a man of honor. CCS has a lot more money then ND (proven by their facilities). If they start winning everyone will say their cheating. Its the nature of the beast. No one would say anything bad about CCS if they didn't continually talk about Catholics like we were a second rate religion. Not all but some. We are all christians first. I've learned in my old age to turn they other cheek. But its hard when you get on here to talk about football and someone continually attacks your integrity. So let's please talk football for a change.

No offense (no pun intended) to Grace or LV, but they are possibly the 2 weakest teams in Chattanooga. CCS will realize just how weak their recent opponents are when they get pummeled by the Irish this Friday. There won't be much suSpence in this one, as the Irish won't need any motivational speeches to get ready to dominate this 'wannabe' football program. The Fighting Irish will win by at least 21!

let me remind you , before Fant and his entourage arrived about 3-4 years ago, ND and CCS were a evenly matched program , I guess , as you put it " 2 wannabe" football programs".
( check the head to head records if you doubt this...)
yes, you can buy a respectable football program by breaking T$$AA rules
Rockne1, my prediction is the Signal - ND score will be a similar lopsidedness just as the CCS-ND will be a lopsided score ( welcome to reality Rockne1 )
you see Rockne1, you look in the mirror and see one thing, but I promise when you look at a photo instead, you see what others see the real you, ( usually not as exciting !,)
ND high school is like the college ND, trying to keep up with the big boys but having to do a whole lot of shady stuff to do it....
like the college ND found out against Alabama and their recent scandals, it doesn't change who you REALLY are,
welcome to the middle of the road... it is short lived !! ( you usually have to go to one side or the other or you get run over)
integrity does matter
so do nice facilities
