  1. Very classy, Coach! Good wishes to #7!
  2. Junior high is kinda early to say you will never play high school ball. Injuries happen, positions change, talent comes out in other positions. A lot can happen in those few years. I do agree it would be tough to stay dedicated as a young kid knowing what the competition is though.
  3. Anyone know what is going on in practice this week? Have there been any consequences for all the penalties and disrespect? The Rushing boy was a heck of an athlete. He seemed to have a lack of dedication though. But a very talented kid.
  4. I agree completely that discipline and respect start at home, but the coaches are definitely to blame for accepting bad behavior from their players. If the parents aren't teaching it and doing their job, then it is up to the coaches to take up the slack!
  5. It seems a lot of people have heard about it and apparently the ref was close enough to him to hear him. This is just a prime example of a lack of discipline. I still would like some opinions on where this lack is coming from. To cost the team 30 yards and to show such blatant disrespect is absolutely ridiculous!
  6. I am having a hard time understanding why this team is so undisciplined. I know several of the coaches are from west TN, and I know that their football career training was very disciplined. There are the 2 that were from Bruceton who played for their father who was one of the winningest and most respected coaches in West TN. Another coach was from Huntingdon and we all know the powerhouse Huntingdon has been over the years. And, another coach from West Carroll, who has had an up and coming football program for the last several years now. This is not the same kind of leadership that these coaches were trained under. Why would they accept less than the best from the boys that play for them?? We can see from Camden's record this year that none of the players are irreplaceable. If the coaches would not accept the inexcusable backtalk, the excessive penalties, and the unsportsmanlike behavior of some players we would see a whole new team on Friday nights. You cannot have the senior players telling the coaches to "shut the F*** up" and expect to have a winning program. The coaches must demand respect and get these boys in check if Camden is going to have a winning season and see the play-offs this year. We expect better from our team! Go Lions!
  7. Camden really has to get a handle on all these penalties!
  8. Then I guess my next question would have to be.......Why are the penalty getters not getting punished?? Is it a thing between the coaches or what? Which coach is not a disciplinarian? There are a lot of athletes and talented kids on this team!
  9. I hear ya! It seems Camden is lacking some discipline this year. Any idea what the problem is?
