no not saying that at all im saying for the past 3 years that is what i have heard as the ""REASON"" the basketball team wasnt good for the past 3-4 years is because they had no size. the reason the baseball team didnt win was because they had no talent. now with football it is the same no talent. i am claiming that happy valley needs coaches who do not make excuses. period. alot of boys that go to the valley do not have good parenting whether they baby their kids to much or do not show any attention at all happy valley breeds alot of "punks" that need the punk beat out of them parents are the number one factor in a kids personality school is usually second. if happy valley could teach kids to not make excuses and to work their butts off to achieve what they want then maybe one happy valley coach could single handedly start a trend to end a strong dependency on wel fare, bankruptcy, teenage deaths/suicides, and honestly teen pregnancy. i believe one coach can do alot more then just show kids how to play football they can change the entire community thats why we need the excuses, the laziness, the leniency, and the "im too good" attitude gone from happy valley. one coach can change the entire culture of elizabethton just by standing up for hard work and responsibility. and plus the new basketball coach and baseball coach have only been there for 0 and 1 years so ask me again in about 3 years

dont know idk anything about that coach but i know shivly i have watched him throw the blame i have watched his double standards he is not head coach material imo you need a man at head coach with courage that can take blame and push discipline. read any one of his articles in the paper especially abingdon... the whole thing is excuse excuse excuse.. thats what happy valley has become is an excuse basketball has no size baseball has no athletes wrestling has no heart football has no talent.. before anything gets better the team has to be disciplined to work hard and not make excuses ive watched unathletic people work their way into high school football stardom it takes strong coaching and a strong will power

coach D was fired for luring players AWAY from the program...? could you elaborate on that a little and sorry i had a carter county education let me guess you went to dobyns bennett right? some great example his starting reciever/ linebacker had a dui his first day and was kicked off elizabethtons team, last year two boys get caught high, one gets suspended for a game the other better athlete gets nothing one boy misses practice for some school event gets suspended a half another better athlete boy misses for hunting nothing according to shively talent conquers all so i will use that right back at you you will be fired after this season and never be a head coach again talent conquers all even in the coaching circle

you wanna talk about a team with no talent east is it... i watched a middle school game last week and they looked identical no size no speed no depth i think they might have had 20 guys standing on the sidelines... dont hurt to mention that shivly kept the starters in untill 4 mins left in the game i think hes seen this and wanted to make a statement on a horrible east team... good job shivly your two wins for the year have a combined win total of 1

zero players compared to science hill maybe... the only people to defend shivly are all science hill people.... or at least posted on science hill topics before even cloudland 94s only post was protecting overbay at cloudland...

thats his alma mater and he thinks hes in with clark who im pretty sure is laughing at him over there. lol but ive hated him since his first year. he came in saying all the right stuff but his first "two a days" were 3 hours of practice with a 30 minute break in between.... our practices used to be 2-2 1/2 in october.... weak practices almost everything is run against air not much contact so honestly beating a down unaka team and a down sullivan east team will not change my opinion of the shiv...

he wanted to leave after his first year happy valley was supposed to be his stepping stone up to dobyns bennett i honestly havent talked to them this week ive been to busy

yea they will answer that for you it will just be a bad game this will be both teams last shot for a W the rest of the year so i can see alot of heart on the field especially by hvs qb he is the only person on the field who hasnt given up yet and for that i respect him. but i dont see "good" football being played at all. but thats why they play the game

either for or against you havent contributed anything to this conversation yet... oh ive talked to the AD, from what i understand the principal is already talking, and who is the director of happy valley ill go to him... Wins are the only credible source needed if happy valley cant beat the 0-5 patriots he needs fired either this week or directly after the season, and i will not post the names of people who give me this information because most of them still play for him or are under him and "scared to lose their job" but in your response to "mamma drama" its also easy to spot poorly coached boys.. have you watched a happy valley football game this year?

its not one coach its every coach they have right now and as far as lsu is concerned i have never seen their playbook if you know the ins and outs of it though thats cool yes and yes i have been involved with happy valley for 15 years do you know any players that play for happy valley? if you do please talk to them about it they will tell you alot more then i will if not this is just a neverending you vs me with pointless comments by bobby. they will tell you way more then me

the day you quit believing and chasing is the day you lose its about chasing your dream with everything you got and if you fail you walk off the field knowing you left it all on the field, at work, in the relationship i guess you wouldnt understand you apparently gave up years ago football is not wrestling or track where you control your own practice a football practice is controlled completely by the coach if they are walking through plays and talking then the player cant control that that was probably the dumbest statement yet i mean yea they could have a real practice after the fake practice or just call up sullivan east for film or just run after practice but im pretty sure the head coah is hired to do all those things

no i have a "personal vendetta" to young boys loosing their hope and spirit and not getting the same oppurtunity to learn what football is as elizabethton, greeneville, or alcoa. at happy valley through youth leauges and when i went there you were taught if you try your best you can do anything but with shivly it is "talent conquers all"

our losses are against abingdon and sullivan central... and its not the scheme of the coaches it is the lack thereof. as i said they do not watch film they are not in shape last year i heard some fat coach yelling at the line telling them to "stay high" i have never in my life heard an offensive lineman be told to stay high. they may not win the conference but i guarentee you he could come in and beat sullivan central, not get shut out by abingdon, and i dont know him as a coach but maybe he would have some of the players respect i dont have to tell you this ask the kids on the team... as far as losing alot of talent the only people they really lost was jalyn simmons and 2 second string lineman... i cant think of anyone else christian mathes quit 3 times before he was "kicked off" (finally quit for good) by shivly this year and they they got etowns maybe best reciever last year? im not sure on that one and a couple other great athletes with disipline problems who are all starting. first i, my brother, and my sister all went/go there so thats how i know all these kids second you may not have heard anything while you were in the stands but the players all talked about how dumb some of the things they were coached to do was.. his first class of seniors all hated his guts... i know most of last years class hated him. i know these kids they all have way more athleticism then shivly or anyone gives them credit for i see a team that should have destroyed central i am not only trying to back up my argument, i am succeeding in shooting down and providing evidence for why every excuse you make is wrong thats happy valleys problem is excuses ask the kids if they watch film, are tired after practice, or like shivly

first off yes i do hate science hill but what i hate more is great athletes going 3-7 6-4 4-6 with that coaching staff. second i thought ferrel was dc over there or was he just a freshman coach as well? third i know almost every kid that has played the last 5-6 years they all tell me that he does not watch film "when i asked to get film to take home and watch he told me that we didnt need it" is what one boy told me ask any of the football players on that team if they have seen film in the last 3 years. ask anyone if shivly watches film with the boys i guarentee you your answer will be a no also science hill game up an average of 23 points a game from 98-08 dont know how long he was there but i wouldnt call that "the best theing it had going"
