If that's what the Happy Valley youth leagues are teaching their kids then they're lying to them. We don't live in a Disney movie. I do agree that every kid/person should give his or her best, but the fact of the matter is that I have tried my best in a lot of areas in my life, but I haven't been able to do "anything". As for kids not being tired at the end of practice, sounds to me that they have a lack of internal motivation regardless of what their coach does or doesn't do. Real athletes are accountable to their teammates and themselves regardless of their situation.

I'm starting to get the hang of it Pain. Finally got me an internet phone to get on here with. Lisa's hangin in there. She got layed off 3 weeks ago. Not a bad deal though because she's getting to spend more time with the Dusty and Sam, so they're loving it of course. Hard to believe it was almost 4 months ago watching our two play down in Pulaski. Good times. Can't wait for spring. Anyway, I think I may be making the trip over the mountain to watch C. Doak play Cum. Gap. That'll be a good one. Still saying Gap by 20 though. What about you?

I'm sure the teams of the 3 Rivers would much rather face a Happy Valley team coached by your pee wee league than a coach that has taken his program to the playoffs 2 out of 2 years. Oh well, I guess when parents are mad, kids are quitting and jumping ship, it's automatically gotta be the coach's fault.

That's about as right on as it gets SGHS. No need to keep talking. Shut this thread down. People need to hear what you just said more often. From what I see, these people complaining about the coach would like their PeeWee coach to take over the program. It's who they relate to.

Seen them play a few times. I can't for the life of me understand how "they are so hard to stop." Joke of an offense. Malone's been the only player they've had for the past 2 seasons. Great back. Tons of speed. But that's all they got. Not to mention their defense may actually be one of the worst defenses in the area as well. They've got people around here so fooled it's ridiculous. It doesn't hurt they play a joke of a schedule though. Gap by 20.

Gap by 20. Doak is the most overrated team in East Tennessee over the past 3 seasons.
