I feel pretty confident one or more of our 4, 5, or 6 guys that have rotated in at RB this year will be able to get outside or inside. We match up favorably with most teams' speed. I do agree that it will be tough for WC to run the ball.
Guess you didn't notice 35 picking your boys up off the ground all night and patting them on the helmet. Yea he celebrates when he makes a play and keeps his teammates pumped up for the next play. He is also one of the most humble kids you will ever meet off the field. I,m not a UT fan by any means but they've got a great player and a great kid coming to be a part of their program.
If you are going straight to the school take the Old Hickory Blvd exit off I-40. It''s very close.
Left on Old Hickory. Left on Charlotte Pike. Left on Sawyer Brown. Right to NCS.
I think we were all dumbfounded to see the relentless power run game from HHS...and we were all numb from the cold. I remember it was so freaking cold! Anybody remember what the temp was that night?
And I never mentioned NCS, HHS, or UC. I just said history is irrelevant to what the outcome will be Friday night, whether you're talking NCS history or HHS history. We know what the history has been between NCS and HHS/UC.
No, actually it was Bucksweep that brought up history. Eagle was responding to him. Anyway, y'all deserve to be proud of your history. It won't bring a win or a loss for either team though except to use what has been learned from it.
Looking forward to this one! The loss to Huntingdon in the semis in 2012 was my son's last game his senior year. Hoping this NC team can get us a sweet victory this time. Expecting the toughest challenge we have faced thus far. I think these boys are up to the challenge and feel like they have a mission to fulfill. They have been playing loose and with fire in their eyes.
I'll add to the answer about penalties. I don't believe NC is undisciplined. I think this team is typical of any other team that plays hard and fast. There will be times they will get holding or false start calls or even an incidental personal foul but this staff doesn't allow repeated issues to go unaddressed with the players.
Looking forward to this one. Have heard much about the TC tradition over the years. Like JB has been for us in the old district 10, you just look forward to playing programs that understand good HS football and show up every week ready to challenge their opponent. Don't worry too much about personal fouls from NCS. We do have some incidental stuff from time to time as all teams do but our coaching staff won't stand for anything intentional.
I'm looking for both teams to show up in playoff mode. I expect TC will try to hit the corners early to make an impact with their speed and see if they can get an early lead.
Prediction: NCS 35 TC 14
