It wasn’t meant to be for the Bearrettes. Good game Lebanon.
Best wishes to Stone Memorial. Bring the gold ball back to Region 3!- 1

Bradley played 3-4 players quite a bit in the first half that didn’t see much first half varsity action this year, including two other freshman. They are not bad players, and that is not my point at all, but is there sickness on the team or something else going on?
EDIT - just heard on radio that UTC signee Anna Walker is out with an ankle... man that hurts. 3 starters out from beginning of the year.

Congrats to Jacobi Wood from Cleveland High School. Mr Basketball Division 1AAA. Well deserved!
From everything I have heard, he is a better human than a basketball player & that is saying a lot!
Way to represent Dist 5AAA!- 3

This is the first time any team in Cumberland County has made it to the glass house in AAA.
The guys didn’t make it when Wade Parsons played for CCHS? That dude was a baller!

Best wishes to the Cleveland Raiders. Would love to see Bradley County bring home 2 gold balls this year!
Congrats to the Bears on winning the District Tourney (yes - I know Jacobi didn’t play) & finishing second in the Region. I would not have predicted that at the beginning of the season. -

Cleveland will lose to whoever makes it to sectional out of Murfreesboro. Blackman, Siegel, or Oakland will all be ready for them. They have zero bench and zero post play. They might make it to the glass house if they get another illegal transfer
No soup for you lil Jerry!

Bradley County - Bradley Central.... What's the difference? Who cares?
The difference is one is a County, which has 3 different public high schools in it.
Bradley Central is the high school that is playing in the girls basketball tournament...Would you care if someone called your team Stone Mountain or some other incorrect name?

Question: How many times have Bradley fans done that when they lose?
Not any more than anyone else.
You just have BDS & care more about our games than anyone cares about your teams games. -

Then why have you agreed with me many times recently? Does that mean you're not familiar with basketball?
Just got under my skin about the free throws with the out of town refs.
Did you even watch the game? -

Stop with the BS....Bradley should have beat Tullahoma by 20 but the Refs was watching the game and not reffing. They got bogus calls and a Tech on their coach just to keep the game close....
Tullahoma didn’t quit & made a good comeback in the 4th quarter after trailing by 8-12 since early in 2nd quarter & by 15 early in 4th quarter. They are a good team.
I thought the game was pretty fairly called, except for the technical on Reuter which helped get a 7 point lead down to 2 in the 4th.- 1

Tullahoma was purposely fouling to get the ball back.
Don’t try to talk basketball with this person. It’s a concept they are not real familiar with.

And to no ones surprise when they play at home, Bradley shot 24 free throws, Tullahoma shot 11.
Bradley derangement syndrome at it’s finest.
Who even knows where the refs were from??? They weren’t local for sure.
they called a technical on Reuter for yelling at his own player. -

If Stone makes it to championship game then AAA is really down. Blackman coaching gave the game away to them tonight.
That was mighty nice of them.

Bradley Central wins 72-64 over Tullahoma. Led by 8-12 most of game, but Tullahoma rallied to make it a 2 point game with about 3-4 minutes left.

I also want to state for the record that I am a Bradley fan, have been for years and not all of us Bradley people are like the clown bleedblackandgold. So please do not think all of us are like this jackwagon.
I second this...

Thank you to the White County administration for allowing the game to be played at our District Champions site. I’m guessing there was some financial remuneration to White County, but they still didn’t have to let it be held in Cleveland. It was a great atmosphere tonight for the community.
Anyone have any attendance numbers?I hope our schools would use the same good sense if the roles are reversed in the future.

What a game. Called a little tight, but a good game nonetheless.
The Bears played better than I thought & of course it helped that Wood & the East Hamilton kid got in early foul trouble, but they were all legit fouls.
I actually thought this officiating crew was the best I’ve seen all year, outside of that one inadvertent whistle that probably should have stayed as Cleveland’s ball.
I know Cleveland is better, but was hoping the Bears could win to have a chance to host next round & get to the Boro. I think Cleveland would have a good shot of winning on the road, but again, Bradley will have to step it up to be able to win on the road & get there. -

Good story about the Region Championship game & touches on the MVP selection. Wasn’t coaches or media who selected it, but as Reuter says none of his players care who the MVP was. That is a great definition of a Team!

Even with her on the team- they don't get out of region. How many finalists are still playing? I don't like individual awards anyway, but IN MY OPINION the finalists should be able to lead their team to state. If they worried more about team stats and not individual stats their team would still be playing. I guess that's why their seasons are over and the real team players are still playing.
Only 16 teams make it out of the Region and in our case, we have a very strong Region. I think Stone can play with anyone in the state on a given night. East Ham lost by 2 points in Region semis on a court they were not as familiar with.
Any comments about not getting out of the Region should be made in that context & not about an individual first player. I have seen her play several times & never thought she was a ‘me first’ player. In fact, I think she elevates her teammates. -
9 Region Championships in 10 years under Coach Reuter. That’s about all that needs to be said...

Yeah. No need to speculate & say whether we would have beaten them or not with Anna.
I tuned in on radio late in second quarter & thought I was listening to a JV game (again - nothing against these girls - they are the future of the program, but not quite enough to get a gold ball this year).
I think we were just down 3 at half, but sounded like Lebanon got hot & hit some big shots in 2nd half.
