Sorry I guess I mislead you a little he is my nephew from the fast side of the family but I coached him for years in football and had a little to do with his success. He is a gamer. My son is a sophomore that just turned 16 and is 6'2 180 and plays behind the East All star Selection on our team. He did have a 63 yard TD run but he is not as fast as 21. 21 is a 4.5 and faster on the turf when heading for the end zone. Seven I hope you look me up when you get to GCA on Friday, do you have an ETA. I will be glad to show you guys around our complex if you wish?

I am sure there will be a play when our 300 plus center is in space leading a rusher, he can really motor. Not saying he will run the 100 meter in the spring just saying the kid has great footwork.

I would say in order regular season CAK but had a weak QB, Then McMinn Cent. big and strong but got way behind early and could not throw the ball, Then believe it or not Midway had a good offense but very small and fast team could not keep up with big and fast team. Overall CAk, Silverdale, Oneida. I have to say that we make good use of our player on both sides of the ball and it is very hard to put 9 in the box against us one play and then we can run 4 wide spread the very next play. This is the best defense GCA has ever had including the 2011 team that put up zeros the last 5 games and only gave up 38 points the entire year.

Stop back by GCA on your way home according to TC the game will still be going on with their stall run offense, but the truth is the TV crew will cut to commercials ever time GCA scores so the game will take about 2.75 hours. Anderson Co, Carter, South Pitt, all dropped us this year due to losing the last 2 years in a row and each of them stated they needed a win over a lesser opponent this year. We tried to get several teams to play us but everyone wanted a sure win for the non district games. CAK may have been rebuilding but they reached the quarter finals and just got beat by the soon to be state 3A Champion Alcoa. We have scrimmaged Maryville and would play just about anyone who will sign the contract. We also scrimmaged Catholic and beat them up, and they are still in playoffs as well.

I respectfully disagree on overrated last year. We lost our 2000 yd Mr. Football, and our best Rec was out as well. This year everyone is good to go!!!!!!

GCA's 1st team defense has allowed only 6 rushing and 12 total TD's this year. I agree Gallatin has a big line, the only difference is GCA's line is big and quick. I have not seen any film where TC throws the ball, that is why I give GCA a 22 point advantage. GCA is too balanced on offense to be stopped. 44 rushing TD's & 32 Passing TD's. GCA 42 -TC 20.

Thanks for the shout out for Eddins (8) and Silver (21) Eddins will be a great college football player, the team that gets him will be very happy, happy, happy!. Silver might not be eligible for the game Friday, he scored a 34 on ACT and has a 4.3 GPA .LOL most likely be the Val at GCA for 2014. Watch out for the 4 headed monster in our backfield, Cam, KI, Pappy, and GMac. together those guys have 3000 all purpose yards, just not enough balls to go around to get them each a 1000 on the ground. Oh, and don't forget our 3000 yard QB, with several offers from schools.

This might be a little bit bold but I am picking GCA to almost score their average of (46.08 TSSAA ranked #4 in scoring) and hold TC to 21. GCA 42 TC 21 Grace will score on their first 3 possessions..

You guys better be careful there might be someone watching with a Fly Swatter and smack that yellow jacket right off "THE RAM". And don't worry about looking for a sacrificial RAM after the game GOD will provide one, but that does not mean that it will be a GCA player......! Comparing Rams to Jackets, Overall I would say that I have swatted many more yellow jackets in my lifetime.

I love the 100 years of tradition at TC. I hope to see a game at Creek bank very soon, just not this year. I think TC has an awesome advantage to have the entire town come out to support your team. We are a very young program with football starting in 2004, with 5 schools within 5 miles, Catholic, Webb, CAK, Hardin Valley, Karns of which 4 of those teams made playoffs, 3 making it to the quarter finals, and 2 still playing this week. It is tough to get other K-Town fans to come out to support us. With that being said we have started a few traditions, I am sure you have heard about our infamous train horn, RISE UP Team Intro, The RAM Walk, etc. We have some other on the field traditions started as well. 2 of our youth teams won the county title this year, the Middle School made the Championship game, and fell just short of the title, and this team is 32-2 the last 3 years losing only to State Champion CAK, and Boyd in last years playoffs, and those two losses only made this team more hungry for a title this year. I hope that when the game is over both TC & GCA can respect each other as a program, and win and lose with class. After the game I would hope that we could have some feedback from each side about their time spent at the Jerry Disney Sports Complex at GCA and the future of both of these great teams.
