No but we have a Carguy.
Maybe he can work on this kid's timing belt.
-
Yeah if you cut his hair he becomes a weakling.
I don't think we have any Delilahs at NCS.
-
Laz, I've enjoyed checking out your Top10 and predictions every week. They were a good contribution to the site and I hope that you will also do them next season. Thank you!
Me too Laz. Thanks for doing this.

I've personally seen him beat his block and run down the opposing teams fastest player on the sideline for no gain.
I can't wait to see him play, but I'm sure there is a scheme in place to negate his strengths.
-
I've noticed some TC folks, as well as others from different schools, sitting with us over near the student section at NCS for the past few weeks.
I hope our students are already working on their signs for Friday. Let's come up with some ideas for them - keep it clean (they read this stuff).
I'm hoping for some MM7 signs too - let's make Miss Maggie proud.
-
I've heard that one school is bringing their boys on Friday to stoke that Championship fire for next year. Our coach did that a few years ago. Nice gesture by the administration to allow that.
-
Really curious where "ladykee" is - awful quiet. I think she's helping with the super secret scheme to shut down our offense.
-
Not true some of the Wayne county posters are.
That's true. We've won a few (very few) opponents over the last couple of years. And those guys have our respect too. IMO, WC will be one of 2 teams left standing from the West next year.
-
Have you watched video on him dad? He does merit some game planning. He plays much bigger than he is and is pretty athletic. I've watched the CA GB game several times and seen all of their players. Silvey didnt play in that game but he has video that is pretty impresive. I'm gonna guess he could be their most effective player against us.
Only seen a few highlights. He's very impressive. We just need #56 and #35 hitting him in the gap and #12 and #22 will be long gone.

Hey all i can say is i Have heard worse! Dont mean to get u mad at me dad and us being in same region but im pulling for them Greenbacks!!! Next year i will be meeting you and im pretty sure we will be traveling to you guys instead of cookeville! Atleast you got a warm up game on that field!
We understand. There won't be one person in the entire state of TN pulling for us except for us. Now we even have the other privates mad at us
-
He knows Kung Fu
Sounded like it was more of an Albert Haynesworth-like stomp. But also heard it wasn't that big of a deal.
-
I had heard Silvey did not play against CA! Is that true?
He was serving a TSSAA suspension for an outburst in their previous game.
-
Silvey is special. If NCS tries to block him 1 on 1 he will win the match up far more often than not. He's not unstoppable but he is very good.
Looking forward to watching him in person.

I will say this. Greenbacks
#1 Kayne Roberts
35 TD'S leading scorer in the state in all classifications.. 224 points
#50 Josh Silvey
20 sacks I will guarantee you that there is no lineman in the state can stop him one on one...
Not opinions facts...
The stats are facts, but the commentary is definitely opinion. And unless his arms can reach from one sideline to the other, he'll be watching our backs scamper past him like every other defense we've faced.
-
I will say you've got a loafer on your team as well.
We all wear loafers (with our sweater vests and horn-rimmed glasses).
-
No problem, you got me thinking maybe the daddy's of the other players would rather their sons not be brought up on here as well. I'm not from GB so I truly don't know how they feel about that sorta thing.Mine
Mine was #42 - he graduated last year.
-
I guess most people think everyone here pays the tuition out of their vacation fund or piggy bank. That is the biggest falsehood out there. There is as much sacrifice and probably more going on the part of those paying a reduced amount. 6k is tougher for those who struggle than 12k for those who have it available.
I'll go one step further and say that most people think that some sugar daddy is paying the best athletes' tuition. That's the insinuation on here that really ticks me off.
-
I'll try to get the ball rollin on some football. Everyone knows a lot about 12, 35, 56, but these guys alone as all of you know cant do it all. I think our free safety (28) might be the next big thing in 1A football. He is tall, long arms, extremely athletic, fast, and will hit like a hammer. He is one to watch on Friday. Wayne County folks can tell you about him.
He's invaluable on special teams too.
-
Found out I get the games on tv. That made my day
Be sure to watch the game Thursday night. About 1/3 of the boys from both teams are transferring to NCS next year.
-
Jonathan Cain?
Yep - that dude can write with the best of 'em. Remember The Babys?
-
We try to run in shifts on here Spike. We gotta make sure nobody gets anything over on us. NCSdad23 called me and said he had to go to a basketball game so I had to cover for him for a bit. If any body gets too out of line on here we send an alarm text and then we all show up at once.
Where's JayBee?
-
Way some people talk on here I kinda was expecting NCS to have paid for a live band at halftime.
That's a good idea. One of the old farts from Journey has a daughter at FRA. And you know all of us privates are in good with each other. I'll call him up and see if those Journey boys will come play a halftime show in Cookeville.
-
LMBO, yes you've got to love the football board flooded with "skillet slingers." LMBO
I'm guessing there's a reason she hasn't been on here much yet. That game planning is taking up all her time.
-
Hey man I hate I didn't get to see you Friday night. I'll be in Cookeville Friday morning in my same green jacket. Come talk to me!
You got it. The boy from WKU will be there too.

Great idea - who do we get on that? Isn't there somebody at the school that does signs?
I will definitely pitch in if that's what it takes.
