The only disconnect/separation I see....is CAK fans are wayyyy more knowledgeable than the Cyclones fans.......but your on the field talent surpasses us.....making it easier for you....the armchair quarterbacks.....so yeah....we are at a disadvantage.....you guys can just talk senseless smack..........makes it hard on us sports intellectuals.

You got it all wrong bro....................people like you make it fantastic!......on both sides of the field. Without passionate fans.....none of it would matter. There is nothing like going into the lions' den and hopefully stealing a win!...it's about the fans, the passion....the players and the atmosphere....and you...people like you, me and the rest of us....make Friday Night Lights happen. This is the major leagues.....this isn't pop warner. Alcoa is amazing....it takes amazing to beat them. CAK faithful is awesome, knowledgeable and reserved....always humble...sometimes a little too humble in my humble opinion. It's football man.....let's get it on. I'll buy a steak....or eat a steak!

I'm back....repsect as much as ever to the Cyclones....awesome program. I was hopeful we would win last year.....but wasn't surprised by they results. Last year I predicted we will win this "championship" game and I have to stick by that. If it's not against any rules or ediquette....I'd be happy to buy one or two of faithful a steak if you win this game. I'd buy a burger/fries from the concession...but I'm thinking it will be closed by the time this game will be decided. Texas Roadhouse isn't too far down the road. You know who I am. CAK takes this one!! Goooooo Warriors!!!!

OK...I'll eat the burger and fries but no Kool-Aid for me.....I'm still counting on a CAK win against the odds!!! Hoping for no injuries, a great game....and good times for all:)

You are starting to sound Canadian!! lol...IMHO...you can't and shouldn't depend on the government or any governing bodies. Admittedly, I'm more hardcore than most.....but just win baby....just win!! I do see ur point to a degree....but its the rules that are place today. Figure them out....and get on top. That's what we are trying to do ...just like most other winners.

As usual...spot on and well versed. I love reading ur posts and proud of all CAK posters. I do think u understated our accomplishments somewhat (as most CAK posters humbly do so)......we are already more than competitive with the best in 3A in my humble opinion......and anyone that loses in the State Championship....in almost any sport, can attest to that. As much as we hate to publicly admit it....CAK is a force to be reckoned with. Championships and appearances attest to that....not talk on message boards. Fair lol....no...life isn't fair and that's what I teach my kid. Surround urself with greatness and try to best them. Everything short of winning is just an excuse...pay respects to the winner. Win or go home, and take ur ball.with you. End of discussion on this whining thread.

All kidding aside.....step up to the plate and be a person of excellence....that's what it takes. If it's a team...then they all have to think that in order to win.........that's the bottom line. H.A.R.D W.O.R.K. and D.E.D.I.C.A.T.I.O.N. ...that's what gets it done.....not recruiting 5th graders.

I'm not going to speak for anyone else, but for me,.....the reason I picked CAK, is because it's liked minded people dedicated to excellence, willing to put in the work to achieve it, and for the most part, won't accept anything less......Spiritually, Academically, and Athletically. I felt it was the best option....and I'm thinking anyone else that goes there.....feels the same way. ....this goes beyond football and so called recruiting or "fairness". Put in the work and the effort...and you WILL achieve your goals no matter what school you attend or what your background is. Like I said earlier "fair"....isn't an option. Make it happen. That's life.

How many kids on CAK's roster every year didn't attend middle or even elementary school? Are we recruiting Kindergardners? 3rd, 5th or even 7th graders?...gimme me a break. Its not recruiting....its something else that's been touched on in these posts. Deal with that reality and try to figure out a way to win like we have to. Dedicate urself to winning....not whining. "Fair" is a forbidden four letter word in my house. Figure out a way to conquer and overcome obstacles preventing you from reaching your goals.
