Man...I will tell you what...this isn't the forum to talk about this perhaps...but truer words have never been spoken. It really irks me when people say CAK has an advantage over publics....knowing what I know about the academic rigors...and that these kids have been there there since 4 or 5 yrs old. I'm not even going to mention the 2.8 factor or whatever it is...having to play against schools double our size. I'm just proud to be a part of it....and I'm trying to get the homework done each night. I'm not smarter than a fifth grader.....and I hate it.

Wow!...and just wow...because people have often times said we have an unfair advantage as a "private"...and after 5 years at this this school...I know it's the same kids coming up from pre-K...it's not a football school....it's a take who you got enrolled school. Kudos to the parents. It's an awesome feat. These kids work hard...the academics alone are brutal.

So...from what I read....Alcoa's football roster is 25% of entire high school enrollment?

lol...I always enjoy it too...all the fans. I'm fairly confident I don't add anything, but I really do enjoy all the knowledge you people spread around. I really do mostly just troll the info....it's better than ESPN. I love Alcoa/Maryville...and whenever we do get a win....we beat the best...so it's a big deal. You guys are awesome....as you can see we respect and admire your programs....

No...but I don't want to ask for more info....I do..but I don't. haha....and I don't know how they got there...but I've got a pair hanging from ceiling fan....but now....back to football!

Johnny....you are likely correct....going into Alcoa and winning a playoff game is a longshot....but it's still fun to talk about. If CAK wins....which is possible...then it will be awesome. The truth of the matter is....this is basically the State Championship game (much disrespect to the West.....but inadvertently....them thinking they can beat either team, is like CAK thinking they can come to Alcoa and win....except, a longer shot.) Karate chop to the face!
