  1. You said and I quote, "How many times do we have to listen to excuses from Temple, even when they win?" SOOO you were not directing just to one person, but to Temple.

Get your facts straight, chief. doche

"Doche?" I believe you mean "Douche." I would think that you of all people would know how to spell that since it must be written on your shopping list every week.

I guess it is unfortunate that Temple is judged by their fan's opinions (not everyone of course) and not by their actions on and off the court. I guess sometimes we must stoop to even your level for you to understand that simple principle

  3. i think there is less to worry about than that about dee it wasnt that big of a deal i think eldridge is bad when he hits shots an he gets all cocky i would have a lot more respect for him if he wasnt so cocky cause he is a outstanding player with a great shot an i wish him luck the rest of this year an next year i just wish he would work on the cocky part but i guess u would have to like it cause thats were he gets his confidence

Do you know Eldridge personally? Vols wasn't saying that Dee was arrogant by throwing that pass but you are implying that Eldridge is. Perception isn't reality; truth is reality and the truth is that Eldridge isn't arrogant as a player or person. Perhaps what Dee did had a touch of arrogance but I don't know the kid so I can't make an accurate judgment on his character by a pass he makes after the whistle. That's unfair to him and unfair to Eldridge for you to do the same.

  4. hey buddy...you make it sound like everyone at temple is complaining....not everyone has...do you see sean on here complaining about it...i havent complained...i complimented grace...and i mentioned that zach complimented dilts so choose your words carefully before you start writing on here. we dont need someone like you to try and start anything with temple fans on here.

How am I starting anything with Temple when I said (and make sure you pay attention this time) "Great job to BOTH teams and good luck in regions, sub-state, and the 'Boro." I know Temple's players (like Sean) are not on here making excuses as to how Grace stayed with them. How can someone like yourself misconstrue what I said as starting something. I was referring to garrysbuddy's(or whatever his name is) comments. Get your facts straight, chief.

  5. well im sorry but we were happy for the win but we did play bad yea might of looked good at alot of times but if u asked the temples players they would of told u they wasnt happy with there performance they werent jumping up an down an going crazy 3 or 4 came up to me an said weve got a lot of work to do so u really dont know what ur talking about u must be from grace cause u sure aint from temple caue if u were u would be saying the same thing i am

How many times do we have to listen to excuses from Temple, even when they win? Don't believe for a second that the only way Grace can stay in a game with Temple is because Temple plays badly. Give some credit to Grace for doing what they needed to do to stay close. Everyone on here was saying Temple by "12, 15, or 20-30" and it's difficult for a Grace player to hear all the time how they have no shot against Temple and yet each time they play, they get better. I'd be a little nervous about playing Grace again if I were Temple. Great job to both teams and good luck to them in Regions, Sub-State, and hopefully the 'Boro.

  6. Grace has the potential to play very well or very badly. It all depends on which Grace team shows up. They definitely can beat Temple, who is the hands down best team in the state, and lost by 3 to Pickett Co. If Davis and JP are hitting, they could be a big sleeper come region and sub-state. Remember, they know what it takes to get the Boro and play for it all and that can only help.

  7. I don't think that there is much of a question that Temple is the better team but Grace is definitely capable of winning(see last season, same scenario). I think in order for Grace to win, they are gonna have to believe they can win. If Davis and JP are hitting and Carter is changing things inside, Grace has an excellent chance. Grace played Temple ten million times better the 2nd meeting so anything is possible. Grace has nothing to lose and everything to gain, and if there is any "pressure," it's on Temple.

By the way, who is the doofus that said Temple is way overrated? Have you seen them play? Do they need to beat Illinois to make a believer out of you?

  8. I was at the game and first I should say that both teams played their hearts out and deserved to win. Grace led most of the game due to some great shooting and they played their tempo for 3 qtrs. Kyle Groothuis is a good player but cannot shoot beyond 3 feet from the basket. Parshall did not score in the 2nd half. Eldridge did a pretty good job. He averages 19.7 a game and he had 16. He was 7-14 from the field. How again did Long shut him down? Grace was up by about 8-12 pts. most of the game. You cannot say CCS played badly, just like you can't say Grace blew the game with the turnover at the end leading to the lay-up. Both teams are a mismatch for each other. CCS inside vs. Grace outside. Should be an interesting rematch in Regions.

  9. Eldridge shouldnt be much of a problem... Long will not let him score more than 12... and Parshall will have to be on shooting to score alot... He will have a really tough time scoring inside...

Are you serious? Temple couldn't even hold Eldridge to 12 in the second game and Eldridge did not attempt a field goal in the 3rd qtr. Long is a good defender but don't think for a second that he can stop Eldridge. Parshall has been on as of late and having McMasters will keep the Groothuis boys honest inside. CCS may win but it won't be because they've stopped Eldridge and Parshall

  10. McMasters wil definitely help Grace match up with CCS and the brothers Groothuis but it will be the perimeter game that wins it for Grace. Long is a good defender and while Sikes from CPA and Skogen from Temple may be better all around, you won't find a better shooting duo in Chattanooga than Parshall and Eldridge. If they are on, it is over, if not, CCS wins. It is a big IF but I like Grace's chances, especially the way Eldridge and Parshall have shown up in big games as of late.

    Grace - 68

    CCS- 62

  11. Of course it is, Grace is the best Class A team in Chattanooga and should beat CCs and CSAS this season quite handily. Grace has most everyone back and they are hungry. They should make a run to state
