  1. This is somewhat true, but not quite. A court ordered injunction can change the guardianship rule and allow Van Horn his eligibility for Grace his senior year if he were to move back to Chattanooga and live with his mom. Last I heard, his father is considering a move back the the Atlanta area which could allow Nicky V to move back and attend Grace in Chatt-town, still maintaing his guardianship with his father, but who knows? I just wish Nicky V the best and we miss him.
  2. Temple wil beat Pickett to win their 3rd trophy in 4 years,(and I am not a Temple fan)
  3. I don't think there is any way Unaka will repeat. Temple beat them by 21 earlier this year and let's face it, Unaka just isn't that good.
  4. How many points did Davis and Johnny have last night?
  5. Great job to both teams. Temple is the best team in the state and who da thunk that Grace would be playing the way they should have been playing all along? Let's hope we get to experience Temple/Grace V at the 'Boro. District 5 representin' the Chat-town well.
  6. you are right, this is ridiculous to argue about.
  7. I've played with both and know both. All I am saying is that they were good enough to play D I and so is Parshall. He says he wants to work hard and play D I eventually. Only time will tell...
  8. All I have to say is, ask Zack Dragoo and Keith Galloway if it was a favor or if they earned it. That's ignorant of you to say. Perhaps, they would give you a clue.
  9. What does that mean? They were still good enough to sit the bench D I. I never said Parshall could lead the ACC in scoring, but he is good enough to ride the pine somewhere. Remember, and I'll say it again; There are freakin' 317 D I teams!
  10. Hey, genius, that argument doesn't work because Skogen is playing D I. If I were you, I would use another example, maybe someone bigger and more talented than Parshall that isn't playing D I. By the way, what happened to your boys, CCS got whacked, hehe.
  11. I will end this debate right now. Zach Dragoo (class AA from CSAS) and Keith Galloway(class A from LV) both walked on and played at UTC which is a very good mid-major program and Parshall is better than both of them. Are you seriously saying that programs like Elon, Bethune-Cookman, Belmont, or Gardner Webb wouldn't want Parshall? He is going to put the time and work into making this happen, and the program that gets him will be the better for it.
  12. Opinions are funny things. You also had the opinion that Grace would lose to CCS by 3 last night, but we all can be wrong from time to time. The fact of the matter is that Parshall is good enough to play D I. Just because someone may not be recruited doesn't necessarily mean they do not have the talent to play on that level. Parshall knows more than anyone that if he would have pushed himself earlier in his career, he would be going D I right now. Look at Christian Moody for Kansas. He was recruited by a few mid-major programs but he walked on at Kansas and is now their 6th man and contributes 6 and 4 every night. The question is not whether Parsall will play D I, but does he have the talent to? Of course he does. Remember, there are 317 D I men's basketball teams. I am sure he could fill a roster spot somewhere...
  13. Why not? Are you telling me that D I schools in the Atlantic Sun, Colonial, or even Southern Conferences wouldn't want a player of Parshall's caliber. Obviously, no one thinks he is good enough for the big time programs, but to say he isn't D I material is ill-conceived.
  14. I may be going out on a limb here but I would say that Grace is peaking at the perfect time. If Grace plays with the same intensity and shoots the ball well like they did tonight, they will beat Temple. Yeah, that's right, I said "will beat Temple." Grace has become the team that they were supposed to become this year(finally) so who knows. Temple may still be better, but the gap is closing...
  15. Wow, what motivation, have you thought about going into coaching? Redundant drivel.
  16. I heard Parshall is gonna play in a TVA men's league. I can't confirm this yet, but my sources are pretty reliable. We'll know soon enough.
  17. "CHUMPionship?" Ask CSAS, Ooltewah, East Ridge, and McCallie if Single A teams are chumps. I may be crazy (which I am) but I would put Temple up against most schools in the state, regardless of class. They may not win every game but it would be close. By the way, do you even know why we have classes? School size, genius. I, for one, am impressed with what most Single A teams do with their enrollment and the type of basketball that they continually play, i.e. Tennessee Temple. Chumps? I beg to differ.
  18. You are right, that guy is good!
  19. Grace outplayed CCS for most of the game the first time but CCS did what it took to get the W. If Grace stays with their game plan for 32 minutes, they are a better team than CCS. The Groothuis brothers hurt Grace inside, but they both have to have good games and get easy looks b/c they are not effective offensively away from the basket. If Parshall and Eldridge are hot, it is over. Grace has alot of confidence coming into this one with the way they played at Temple and against LV last night but anything can happen. However good they are, losing a starter hurts and will affect CCS with Neilsen being out. Look for Grace to defend the post better and outplay CCS's guards on the perimeter. Grace - 64 CCS- 58
  20. How is this one gonna go down?
  21. Of course Robinson is better than Mouw but Temple will win this one easily. Temple- 74 S. Pitt- 52
  22. um, exsqueeze me, have you ever heard of styling gel...
  23. No one can man, except in the faculty/student game, haha
  24. He has a good attitude and he plays hard. I mean, I know you are better, but...
