Congrats to the cubs team and coaches. These guys deserve so much credit and deserve the attention they are getting from their fans on here. They are a WONDERFUL bunch of guys. These boys play well together and are an actual TEAM. Their fans should be very proud of them and have earned bragging rights. STATE BOUND!!! GO CUBS!!

I wasnt impressed by spring hill on tuesday. I think had creekwood played their"A" game they would have beat them. Creekwood was off on tuesday. Spring hill got lucky. GO CUBS!!!!

I was at the game and when it was 15 -18 and thomas ,brinkley and darden came out we went down by 4 or 5 immediately watch the film!!! we had to fight to get it back with our small guys out there now having said that, Our smaller guys are amazing. Oh and Im not the only one who thinks coaching cost us the creekwood game ask around!! Its been the talk. Even the creekwood parents said it.. I think the world of dawson. i love a coach who loves his team and loves what he does and i truly believe he does. But he isnt perfect....and he wasnt that day.... he made bad choices and i think he knows it.

It's funny ya'll keep talking about Darden and Saunders and dont get me wrong they are great! But without Brinkley, Thomas,and Conners out there with them they cant get the job done. When they are out there with a different crew some how our lead gets smaller so give some credit to our seniors they are the ones out there giving it their all also. Thatcher is a beast all around, in my opinion he is our team MVP he is a player who gives 100% from the time he steps on the court till the time he steps off. Devin is fast and can drive in on teams with little trouble. Billy...Well hes tough when hes in the game teams are intimidated. his defensive skills are unreal! He stops the inside game of the opposing team. Good Luck to all of the guys on the team!! GO CUBS!!!!

I think I just herd that creek wood just beat waverly in ot can some one let me know if I herd right. If so congrats to creek wood they have a really good group of guys and deserve it.

I dont believe he was forgetting the class of 2014 he was just giving credit to the seniors this year because it is well deserved. Next year the class of 2014 will have their chance to be the heros of the school. Everyone gets a chance to be the top guys their final year. They should be complimented on what they have achieved. The whole team is amazing in my eyes. But to be a senior, it must feel great and they should be praised. Good Luck Cubs!! I hope you win it all.

They will play harpeth

Cheatham plays Camden Friday night I think Camden has a good shot of beating them. They never come off a lose very well. And the hot shots on the team will make sure it's a 2 man show. Hopefully 33 and 20 showed up for practice and watched the plays. So they don't look so lost.

Cheatham county got there butts handed to the by creek wood tonight they had a 20 point lead at half with the starting 5 in the game and for some crazy reason he changed the line up in the 2nd half left his big man and best defender on the bench. Plunkett made the task look very easy with out those two in the game 33 for cheatham and 20 looked like they had no clue what was going on but still they were not pulled from the game. All the credit to creek wood they wanted it more than the coach from cheatham I think he got way to creative for his own good and cost him self a good chance to loose the season when u have a starting five like he has u just don't change it till u have too bad coaching in my book. No way he beats waverly twice to save his season that's just my opinion

Wilson has had some bad luck he lost a great post in the big kid at cchs and a great point guard at cwhs not counting his little brother cchs gained all the power getting darden Thomas to go with Saunders with those guys not there Saunders does not stand out like he does game in game out Wilson is a really good coach and knows a lot about the game

Cheatham did play very good but that was not there best game of the season the beat Franklin a much better team than Watertown and they are one of the top teams in 11aa basketball

And they played a kenwood team that is very good close in a game I thought they had a real good chance to beat in the 4th a few turnovers cost them that game.

Waverly like always one of the toughest teams in the district and very tough at home. The cchs know it will be a dog fight to beat them and I agree beating Dickson was a very good win for those guys. Dickson is a great team as well

Cchs beat Franklin and looked very impressive the big kid Thomas plays very well on d fence and with out Harlin hitting free throws it could have been a lot different the rest of the team were struggling well ad conners to the list played very well also but for the most part they looked very good and will be hard to beat
