Coach this is a semi-pro football team and at that a start up one. I am in talks with an indoor football team owner about being the owner of this team and backing us financially. Right now it would be voluntary with the reward of more experience, networking opportunities for coaches, and the reward of getting some guys second chances at football careers or possible careers. Good Afternoon, There is a new start up semi-pro football team looking to become a member of the Gridiron Developmental Football League out of Memphis this summer and play our home games in the Rutherford County area. We are currently seeking coaches to fill out our staff and get started with try outs and our season. Currently there is a need for a RB coach, Offensive Line Coach, Defensive Line Coach, Secondary Coach, Special Teams coaches, Wide Receiver Coach and possibly a QB Coach. There will be no pay involved to start but that could change depending on our financial situation. I am looking for people with some coaching experience but I will not exclude people trying to break into coaching either. High school, college or semi-pro experience preferred. This program will serve as a platform for second chances for guys trying to resurrect their college or professional football careers or guys who did not get recruited for college who want to play college football. We will intern also serve as a pillar of the community sponsoring youth football programs and possibly giving scholarships to families who can't afford for their child to participate in sports. We will also look to provide free or cost effective camps in the summer so people who are dedicated, professional, well put together coaches are needed. You must have good character and willing to mentor young men.

Good Afternoon, There is a new start up Semi-Professional football team looking to start play this summer with the Gridiron Developmental Football League. The team is hoping to become the team for Rutherford County quite the way the Nashville Storm is considered Nashville's team. The idea is to create a team that can truly serve as a platform for second chances at professional football careers or college football careers for those athletes that may have not had everything together in their day. In the same breath the team would also look to serve as a pillar of the community providing sponsorship to the youth football programs and even providing scholarships for kids whose families may not be able to afford youth sports. At the same time, the team would provide quality education/training for youth coaches and work to provide free or cost effective camps for youth football players during the summer months. This team will be well put together, well structured, and well run with no garbage being tolerated. I was approached about becoming the first head coach and the gentlemen who wanted to be the owner backed out so now I am trying to pull this thing together and make it happen while also forming a staff. We are in need of a little help with uniform costs, travel expenses, website creation and hosting costs, and most importantly a GAME FIELD. I have a quality staff being put together with people who have coaching and/or playing experience at the college, semi-pro, and professional levels. I have someone with previous internship experience in marketing with various NFL teams and a strength and conditioning coach who holds a super bowl ring as a former member of the Dallas Cowboys. I personally have semi-pro experience, middle school experience, and student assistant time with a Division I college football program, private coaching experience, and administrative skills from the Marine Corps. I also hold a semi-professional football league championship ring. The only thing I ask is that the staff in place currently be left as is and I be allowed to finish forming the football coaching staff.
