  1. Well they just lost to Aaron academy a team they should have beat by 30. Looks like the winner of Kenwood and CPA in the second round will win this tournament.
  2. They have two games that I could see them losing this weekend. In the JP 2 tournament. If they win there first game they will most likely match up against a very tough Kenwood team. If they win that one they would probably face a Urspring team in the finals were a doubled digit loss would not surprised me.
  3. Wow oak hill of Europe. We'll I think I have found which tournament to go to. CPA, Kenwood, and Urspring in the same Gym should produce some good basketball.
  4. Has anybody heard if them? Apparently it's a very good German basketball youth team playing in the JP ll christmas tournament where they will probably face a kenwood or CPA team in the finals.
  5. They lost to Cascade by 2 points on a last second shot, early in the season, with 3 starters missing. But still should have won that game by double digits.
  6. I wouldn't call the Clarksville area teams that station camp played a "tough run" a 8 point win against a very young 1-7 Clarksville team and a 4 point win against a 3-7 West creek.
  7. I have seen about 10-15 teams play this year most in middle TN, and I'm not sure a lot of the records we see are indicative of how good or bad teams are. For example after another run to a state championship in football Henry county just returned there football players to the roster last week. Including there best player Brandon Donaldson. They have won there last 3 since, and while they may not be a top 10 caliber team, I believe they are better then a highly overrated Station Camp team. Kenwood mean while has completely flown under the radar, they have yet to put a complete team on the floor this season due to injury. They have good length in the middle with 6-8 Jamario Rivers, and arguably one of the best pure shooters in the state in Daniel Norl. Both played the stiffest competition around the country alongside Bonds, Allsmiller & Blackwell (CPA) this summer with the best 17U AAU team in Tennessee D13 elite. An up and coming sophomore in Matthew Norl has been tasked to play the point because he is often the best decision maker on the floor. His natural position at the 3 or 4 would make him a double-double threat every game. A possible match up against CPA at the JP II Christmas tournament should be a good one to watch in a few days. Who do you think is overrated or underrated in AAA?
  8. Looking to catch a few games through out the holiday break. Where are you going? When, where, teams invited, predictions?
  9. Curious were these list are coming from. Out side of watching games of all these team play. Using records as a measuring stick this early in the season would seem a little misleading for some teams consider most roster are just now complete from the return of football player.
  10. Kenwood lost by 5 dickson county won so far 9aaa 1-1
  11. This Norl kid is pretty special I think he will be a top 5 player in the state next year. His defense might be better then his offense. http://www.theleafchronicle.com/article/20130215/HSSPORTS/302150060/Norl-s-quick-start-pushes-Kenwood-into-semifinals
  12. From Leaf Chronicle Feb 2 2013 "Kenwood sent it into the extra session when Daniel Norl drained a 3-pointer with 1.3 seconds left in regulation and tied it at 59-all". I have seen Daniel Norl play and I'm with Mr. TSSAA on this one not only clutch but from what I've seen there are few better pure shooters at the high school level. Pretty much under the radar in TN but he dose have 10-20 D1 schools showing interest. FYI he went 6 for 9 from three point range that game
  13. Just wondering what the rules are? Example: two teams overall records 22-5 (14-2 district record) who wins regular season title?
  14. I've seen CC play once this season and Saunders did impress me he did finish with 20+ if I remember correctly. Good shooter, shot selection was an area for improvement, but he has an unexpecting elusiveness, good ability to finish at the rim. I'm not sure he is one of the better shooters in the state but perhaps a few more games watching him would change my views. Thanks for your input.
  15. Impressive I have not seen him play. It would seem he is one dimensional taking 218-3 point shots, is this the case? But then again dose it matter if your knocking down 50% of them.
  16. Have any of you seen Daniel Norl from Kenwood. The junior is on pace to break the state record this year (48%)
  17. Just wondering who you guys think belongs in the conversation. I know there are a lot of scorers but who is lethal from long range.
