I think Cwood and Summertown are still the teams to beat in region 6. Loretto is right on there heels. Hopefully Richland will make some noise in the region. Lost a tough one at Loretto last night and still have Summertown tomorrow night. Should be an exciting couple weeks of Basketball.

East Limestone won 61-18 I believe. Richland won over Riverside but not sure of the score. It was a 20 point win. Spring Hill girls won as well.

Loooking for a 16u team for my daughter for the summer in middle tn. Plays outfield and catcher. Good bat with pop. Hard worker with good attitude.

I can only speak for Richland and Mtp as they are the only teams I have seen. Richland plays mostly man defense, any of the starting five can score 20 on a given night and have one big player that is still learning but is good on the boards and defense. Mtp is very long and athletic, they play mostly man but switch to zone from time to time. As for Mtp best players there point guard is one of the best ive seen and #41 can lock down the opposing teams best player. Both teams are very good and are going to be tough outs.

I hope other teams man handle the Raiders. State bound!!!!!!!!

Not much offense in the first half Whh leading 20 16.

No doubt district 12a is a tough district. Most of the teams are very well coached and play very physical defense. Stown and Cwood are both excellent teams. Just my 2 cents worth.

Richland has made it to the State Tournament but it has been several years. Dont remember the exact year. I will say the gym at Whh is very nice.

The same could be said for the Patriots. If you are playing this time of year you cant have an off game or you will go home. I have no doubt that Whh is a good team and it should be a great game.

We will see Monday.

I dont remember you being on here talking about how classy Mtp is after Richland won the last 2.

Got to give Mtp credit they played aggressive on defense and their pressure gave Richland trouble all night. Hats off to the Raiders for hanging tough. It would only be fitting for these 2to to meet one more time in the state finals. Got to take care of business first. Congrats to Mtp.

Great night of basketball in Lynville. WC an Cwood both played hard fought games. Really thought Cwood was gonna pull off the upset but just couldnt close it out. Richland had a comfortable lead late in the game but WC made a run and made things very interesting at the end. Now we have round 4 of Richland and Mtp. No doubt this will be another battle and should be another close game. The atmosphere should be rocking on Thursday night. Cant wait to see who travels and who hosts. Go Raiders!!!!!!!

I have no doubt that WC will show up to play. If you are playing this time of year you have to be pretty good. If the Richland team that played Saturday shows up tonight they could be in trouble. The wright kid from Stown controlled the paint and the boards. No doubt we will have to have some points in the paint in order to win. Cant rely on the three every night to win. I guess we will see shortly.

They both should be great games. I have not seen Wayne county play this year so my prediction was based only on my gut, which can be dangerous. I do believe that the athleticism of Mtp will give Collinwood trouble but it is tournament time so Im sure nerves will come into play especially in the first quarter. All I know is that this Richland team is very balanced and unselfish. Any starter can go for 20 on any given night. I guess we will find out who wants it more in about 5 hours. The environment should be a fun one for the kids to play in. Good luck to all.
