Ok. I started a post earlier that I guess offended one of the upper tier on this format. 10 of the 12 gold/silver championship balls are going to West Tennessee. Is this a fluke? Any thoughts? Could this be a reason for the redistricting of several powerful programs to make it more "fair" for the other teams in the middle and the east? If it doesn't change and the dominance continues, will there be a need for another change? I won't put anybody's name with being behind this change (redistricting) because it might get pulled again. Does financial influence have control in portions of this state? All of these are valid questions, I would like your thoughts. Note: if this topic is pulled, I want a full refund of my plus membership dues!

Just another game for JNS. They will have a bigger crowd today, the other games were warmups.

Between the girls & boys tournament, the West will have secured 10 of the 12 gold/silver championship balls. Is this a fluke or a trend? Thoughts and predictions for next year. Will the financial influence that dominates TSSAA create another change in a few years? Feel free to input.

I've even heard of them there tales where some kids are born and are given a basketball instead of a pacifier....from some of the old schoolers..lol

You have learned well, I make valid points but alot of it is crap. Is it paid or payed?

I don't think that Temple could beat Peabody, Middleton, JCS, West Carroll, Lake County or Middle College and I'm sure a couple of more. It is one thing to obtain a record of nearly perfection against weak teams, but you can't compare apples to oranges. Next year, throw in Union City and/or Humboldt and it even gets harder. Granted the teams from West Tennessee don't have the most stellar records of like 33-1 or 30-3, but look at the competition they play week in and week out. So puts your doubt to rest and get Temple back there next year and we'll go thru this again. I heard there is an outstanding kid in Dalton, GA ??? (8th grader) that Temple wants, I'm sure he'll end up there playing because of the educational aspect, Temple has a bright future. thumb

Sometimes, but I just do it to get stuff started, I 'm a really laid back person but I like to see the emotions in writing. Don't take it too seriously.

Write this down, when the last Skogen leaves Temple, the tuitition will go down. Is it recruiting, not as defined by TSSAA bylaws, but under the table it is. Write it down. If you have problems writing it down, copy and paste this to a file and print it out. Here's lookin' at you kid

You are right and I do give Siegel credit. The West Tn teams will produce the same calibre of teams next year. If they gave championships for the divisions in the State, Siegel would have been in the final four of middle tennessee without a doubt, if they had to play ALL of the upper level teams in the middle. As far as the manager bashing goes, I'd take the 4 starters and any one of the 3 managers on the Ridgeway bench for a starting 5, and Ridgeway still wins.

That feeling is probably the flu or the 24 hour stomach virus..you'll get over it. Come back again, next year, and see some more of the dominance displayed by the West Tennessee teams.

I'm sure if the money gets right, any changes can be made with the TSSAA. It's been happening for years with "private" institutions, why do you people think it will change now. lol
