The fact that Riverside never stopped Forrest the entire game and got annihilated in offensive production, might have had something to do with them winning. Not just a failed fourth down attempt, but hey, what do I know.

 

Never stopped Forrest?!! Ummm, what about the last series of the game when Riverside had a chance  at the end after forcing a punt. I would also say holding Forrest to 3 field goals which should have been 21 points could count as stopping also.

Fact is, if it wasn't for the 4th down decision Forrest would be staying home until next year. I understand the decision because Forrest couldn't stop Riverside the 1st two drives so they wanted to put it on em early. If they would have got it, we would be saying good call, but they didn't so we point to that as giving up 7 easy points that may not have been! Forrest won, congrats! I do believe it will be a VERY LONG drive back home for Forrest after Adamsville gets done with them next week though! Forrest won't  hang with the Cards!

I am afraid of Forrest and their defense. They haven't given up many points at all while Riverside seems like they want to give points away lately. If Riverside continues to fumble and drop passes as seen in past weeks it wont be pretty. The defense has to show up also along with taking care of the ball. Ward needs to get his head right, be 100% along with many other supporting players stepping up if they want to compete. Also, where is Forrest? Is that the name of the school or the town?

Game is over at the half because Riverside didn't get off the bus. When you have 3 fumbles that turn into points against a good team you need to get your tail whooped. I may be calling it early, but congrats to TCA!!! Coming from a Riverside follower!

Well, Ward has accounted for 19 points in the game, just happens 13 of them are for TCA.  Score is 20-6, TCA, almost end of 1st.

LUKE WARD CANT HANG ON TO THE BALL! 2 fumbles in the 1st quarter already. The question about D-1 colleges looking at him. I believe they were hotter on him last year than this year. He just hasn't been impressive at all, plus has been hampered with a lingering injury for the last half of the year. Sounds like he is injury free tonight, but just cant take care of the ball.

13- 6 TCA. TCA scored on first play. Riverside drove into TCA territory, Ward fumbled. TCA scored after recovering fumble. Riverside scored in 3 plays after Ward 69 yard td run. Sums up first 4 drives.

I just hope its a good game. If Riverside comes to play and can limit quick/long passing it could be close but If not, it could get ugly. Riverside needs to chew up the clock though. Luke Ward hasn't been 100% in about a month now and looks downright horrible/painful to watch if he has to run hurt. Literally watched him in one game have to quick skip his way down the field. If he isn't 100%, I see it being a win for TCA, and by big points.

@ wildcat, Ive given ya a hard time on other threads to just get ya goin a few times about Wayne County! Yall have turned the season into a good year after a rough start! Congrats to the Wildcats!

I wasn't at the game and listened after the game had started. I took your word on it that Luke started but after talking to some people at the game, Drake Smith did start the game, not Ward. Agree the wood came to play! Coach's were not worried about losing the game but you never wanna just throw in the towel. I would assume that Ward being a senior he would have gotten snaps anyways, just more than they had expected after Collinwood jumped out and dominated.

Riverside didn't rest anyone. Ward started game. Went three and out. Riverside didn't score until about thier fourth drive. They used backup quaterback off and on. Trojans hit hard, very hard. Seemed like there were Panthers hurt every other play. Cwood gameplan had Riverside coaches freaking out. You could see the desperation.

Was wrong on smith starting! Ward has been hurt the past 3 weeks so that is why you saw the in and out! You clearly don't know Riverside players with your first statement being that Riverside didn't rest anyone, because they did!

Did Ward play last night?

Freshman, Drake Smith started but when Riverside went down 10-0 in 1st quarter he went in and they scored on first drive. I wasn't at the game but listened. Clearly Riverside didn't take the game seriously with the but whooping they took but its almost the equivalent of the Broncos resting their players in the 15th game of the year to get ready for the playoffs. With so many new kids in the game due to resting/injured/suspended players it was ultimately like the first game of the year when you are working all the kinks out! Sounded like Cwood was really dominant all night long though!!!

Riverside wins big! They will call off the horses early or they would top the 71 points put up on McNairy a few weeks ago! Riverside will not be at full steam with some players resting so this could be close or even an upset, not!

Adamsville will be seeing a receiver that no other team has seen this  year, and yes, from my understanding, that is on purpose. This is the first game, with meaning, that is tough, so Riverside has yet to show all weapons on offense! Ward, will definitely have to be more accurate and other recievers cant drop balls like they have been prone to do the past few games.

This game has the feel of Riversides game with Lewis county way back in 2002 or 03 (I think) when Robertson was coaching before he left for Liberty. Riverside was the underdog as the #2 team in the state came to town as the Panthers shocked Lewis County! Sadly, Riverside was beaten in 2nd round by Lewis County later in the year! I like both teams and don't know who to pick! Good luck to both!

I'm sure your for one of those schools that has only had one or two good seasons you want to dog Wayne county because they haven't had as good of seasons as we have in the past I bet you wouldn't be dogging us a couple of years ago when Tyler rice and all those boys were making you and all the coaches look stupid on the field but we got faith in our boys down here at wc and it's just the beginning of the season we got a long ways to go so keep doggin us ole boy nobody on here cares what you say your just a washed up has been that never was any good anyways if you even played you prolly rode the sidelines and just wished you was in

Wayne Co. has never made me or my team look stupid because where I played ball and where Im from we would consider ball in your neck of the woods peewee! I think most WC fans have been saying each week that we just haven't been able to get over that " stupid penalties, fumbles, and interceptions   "HUMP"  that keeps putting us behind early and then we have come up just short at the end!  We all know that we have caused most of them ourselves and we don't need you or anyone else questioning our manhood, you probbaly haven't been at everyone of our games so you are going by here say on what has happened and opinions are like some other things every one has one! Yes, 1-3! Supposedly, 3 plays from being undefeated! It doesn't bother me that the Wildcats have a losing record but I am also man enough to know when my team just cant get the win and not make excuses for miscues, penalties, fumbles, interception in the red zone, and just getting beat. That's all I am saying.

Wc is 0-3 but I still think they're better than last year. All three games have come down to the last play!

Oh, Wildcat89, you lost 7 games last year so 0-2 is an option. WC cant run up the middle, but have some quick, scrawny short kids that will get 10  yards on ya around the end every now and then but if you can keep that at a minimum Hickman will win easy. They have one  big guy on D but doesn't do much but take up space. You will know who he is when you see him. Good luck to both teams!

Probly talking about all the seniors yall lost. Until last year, Riverside usually plays with Lexington, pushes to overtime and occasionally will win. Rivalry goes a long way in playing a good game for both teams
