Highlands Wrestling Club located in Abingdon Virginia (SWVA) will be hosting an awesome weekend of wrestling Dec 6th and 7th. The Mountain Man Classic will consist of an Indivdual Belt tournament as well as a middle school dual tournament. Dec 6th will be a battle for an AWESOME BELT! Belts will be awarded to the Champion in each wt class in the middle school division. Weight classes as follows: 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 106, 113, 120,126, 135, 145, 155, 165, 175, 190 & 275 We will also give out Belts to the Most Outstanding Wrestler in each division of the K-5 age group: K-1, 2-3, 4-5. Awesome Training & Fun In The Sun! The Matt Epperly Wrestling Camp is coming up this Sunday. Reserve your spot now for this unique and fun training opportunity. Matt Epperly was an amazing 4X VA State Champ for Christiansburg and a star wrestler for the VA. Tech Hokies. He will be teaching a short, intensive 3-day wrestling camp at Hammer House (25285 Lee Hwy, Abingdon, VA.) from 7/13 - 7/15. The Matt Epperly Wrestling Camp will start on Sunday, July 13 and end on Tuesday, July 15 with sessions lasting from 9am-12noon each day. Interested campers are invited to the lake after camp each day for swimming, skiing, wakeboarding and a cookout. The cost of the camp is $60 with a limit of 50 kids.
