As far as losing to AC, they are a better team then us at this point bigger and all the things they need to be good, OR was very young this year very young and on top of that they were starting with new coach, lose by one or a hundred you still loss, HS football is very much unpredictable, you are talking about 14,15,16 and 17 year olds that can change the outcome of any game, I think just like us if CC can stay in this district they will have success year after year because look at us we couldn't play with the big boys even though allot of folks around here thought we could play with Maryville and likes, heck we lost to Heritage our first year with the big boys now we are playing in a league that is much different than the big boys and we can beat these guys, our team is good as long as we play the leaser teams on our schedule heck we only have four district games and the rest are non district make ups, we played three good teams and lost to all three and we will lose to the fourth good team we play Friday, I don't drink the cool aid, I'm happy for our boys , our school but the realistic story is we are playing teams we should beat and that’s the fact of it. All I am saying about CC is they won some games in a bad district and when they played a very good team they got handled pretty easily and saying your co champs is about making things bigger than they were that’s all.

84 don't be mad the facts are in, CC co district champs, couldn't play with the elite team, can beat a bad halls team, a bad karns team a bad team in kentucky and so on but just haven't reached the level that you think you are already at, hats off to being so good this year, don't understand why you get so upset CC has their co champ t-shirts so you guys have arrived, by the way your right I couldn't afford Webb...

Again CAN'T handle the truth and yes I agree we will get beat this Friday as we are not as good as a Fulton team but we are in SEMI State, call me what ever you want like bigdaddy said " The truth is the truth" like it or not. See Catholic got a nice draw in the playoffs due to the Sullivan South lose game 10, but see I'm not trying to convince myself we are better then we are, CC had a great season but, as many that have little success you have to go to the next step and crown yoruself something more then it was

No big daddy these guys can't handle the truth, they like to live in fantasy land that somehow they have a clue what any coach is thinking, the funny thing is everyone except the CC folks know the Super twins want out of CC, Jessie Smithy says it, it has to be true. It’s like naming yourself co champs reaching beyond your success to have the argument that it’s the way it was, as time passes others will start calling them co champs as well because someone said it but, until then they just have to convince them self.

CACHING what? schools can only pay what is allowed and most don't have a booster club to add allot to the pay, CC folks will try to say he got a bunch of money to leave but the fact is they want out. Go Irish!

yea coach Price knows all for sure, just wait you guys will be saying wow just like CC was Saturday morning, talk is cheap and yes for the sake of the post earlier that said we got beat by all three good teams you are correct we got beat and yes we are not as good as some teams but the fact still remains AC will get beat in this game. I guess the NCAA and pros miss all the speed in high school because every year they only have a few guys that run sub 4.5s, check the data, I guess they better get out to AC because it looks like they are looking in the wrong spots.

I have been one of the Irish faithful that knows our success has more to do with who we played and not who we are, I try to keep it real but, if you want to be straight Fox is a good running back playing in a very weak district this year, just like CC getting handled Friday night it will be much the same for the AC boys with or without Fox, West to fast, to Physical, and just way better then then what the district you guys play have to offer just that simple.

Seen AC up close when we played them and have seen West two times this year, AC not even close in talent or speed in this one, not downing AC but, West has a few very fast kids and it will show Friday if the rain holds off.

The thing is if the brothers don't apply they can't be hired to another job , so it’s real simple if the brothers aren't looking to leave then why not come out and say hey we are happy with where we are or maybe my brother will take a job but, see they are wanting to leave that's why no announcement from either of them, Knox county hires teachers first and then a coach, it’s what happened at Powell and it will be what happens at Karns, Central, and any other Knox county job that comes open. The Super does NOT want sports to over shadow his education agenda and will make sure that never happens, in fact a good friend of mine close to the Knox county dealings as said the Super would probably do away with sports if he could, too much money, time and emphasis on it.

Like I said TO PHYSICAL TO MUCH SPEED and playing in a down district doesn't help.

Why is that throwing you under the bus other then you not liking the fact? I guess his point was its great to have a HS football team that can win state and beat everyone by 60 points but, the school is not getting the kids out with an education. this is a football forum but, they do call them STUDENT ATHLETES.

Thats fine as its ok for you guys to carry on with your NONE SENSE and if anyone disagrees then you hate, correct me if I am wrong the district is way down from years past, CC beat a Powell team thats was running with their fourth string QB, the thing is you guys act like the twins are worth more money then other coaches and they have not done anything except for one year, lets see them create a track record then give them the crown... Yes they had a great season for CC but one year doesn't justify the bs of saying they deserve something more then the other guy... Lets see if this is a good football team due to class of players this year or if they do it year after year, then you can say they are the greatest until then they are still average football coaches. This Friday will show what the gap is between a great program and a one year wonder.

After they hang the moon and solve the world's great questions they might be able to coach some, just being involved in a private school and hearing what the coaches have to say when coming from community schoolsthat they are held to a certain pay level for all coaches, unless CC can pay out of the boosters then the pay they get will be what they get. These guys are still just football coaches HS ones at that with one good year under their belt, before you want to crown them the saving grace maybe let them get a little history and then pass the crown to them until then they are coaches that won some football games in one of the worst districts in the state and came out with 10 wins against teams like Karns , Central, Clinton, a rebuilding Oak Ridge and two teams they were able to line up for the pre district warm up. Befor you reply about our beat down by AC, I can say we are rebuilding as well after four years of very bad coaching.

Hey listen I wasn't trying to insult one of your sheep there pepvol as we all know that you guys don't have any issues over there in that outstanding program and I was not one of the Irish faithful that thought we should hire a DUI guy either, I was just stating a fact that Knox county doesn't hire guys with DUIs, Knox county looks at hiring teachers before coaches, if they are a good teacher then they will hire them as a head coach, at least that is what my good friend at Powell told me on how they got the HC they got...

Knox county will not hire coaches that have had DUIs, just saying...

West wins by 3 or 4 TDs seen West play and they just have to many weapons on the field, Gibbs doesn't have the type talent that West does and it will show...

Not crying facts are the facts year after year the 8th grade coaches go around selling their travel program to al the athletes in the area telling them about all the tournaments they will play then the sale begins, I think most students come to Catholic for privte education, hey more power to you guys if you have to recruit to win then recruit just do't try to act like you gusy aren't the best at it, it probably helps to have someone from your school in bed with TSSAA..

Fulton has a great recruiting staff at the 8th grade level, they do a great job getting the kids from other schools to come to Fulton... Guess they will enjoy their recruited team all the way to state,

2nd round exit for either team, before we give cc the gold ball they have to play allot better teams then they did to go 9 and 1. I say either team gets beat by West 30+ seen West seen CC against Powell total different class of teams there.
