We will see. They will play some defense now at MTSU.

What has Vandy done since Mason has been gone? Anybody saying somebody can't coach based on what they did at Vandy is out of touch with reality. If Saban was at Vandy they would struggle to win 6 games. That place is losing players left & right because they are in a total different league from the rest of the SEC. Basically no donor support. No NIL support. In the current football landscape, Vanderbilt will struggle to ever get to 6 wins any year soon.

It’s all fun and games haha my buddy from the army is coming down from Indiana and he said we’re hurting is Oakland is our best high school program lol center grove is already out… they didn’t even go far this year so see it comes from every direction. There are teams that would embarrass Oakland just as bad as they did Bradley. Imagine IMG or mater dei… it’d be 80 or 90 to 0
IMG played Ravenwood 3 years ago. It was 45-14.

You are like an old woman who has had their feelings hurt. You are what is called a "clinger". You probably were on the dance team in high school and dreamed of playing football. Such a brave old woman to call someone an "idiot" on a keyboard.
That's funny. A University paid my way for me to go to their program & play football for 4 years. There is a good chance I've done this longer and better than you have, chump.

By the way old-timer, who died and made you an expert on football?
You think that I think I'm the expert? No, I just challenge your very idiotic takes you put on here publicly for us all to see. You say something that dumb, I'm going to call it out. That doesn't make me the expert. But I feel like I've played long enough and seen enough ball to make a pretty solid assessment.

Not sure you what point you are attempting to make, but let's just say for the sake of not debating that I was right and you were wrong.
Clearly you aren't right. You came on here last Friday night. Crying just like a little girl with hurt feelings and all. About how you were surprised either of those teams were in the 2nd round. And how it's the worst defense you've seen Oakland have. You were terribly wrong, and i called you out on it last week and again today. Accept that you were wrong about Oakland. It's all pasted above for everybody to read your idiotic takes from just 1 week ago. You can't hide it or deny it.

I feel like if Oakland can beat a team 56-0 that they let beat them in season means they’re very very inconsistent… and this is going to be a monster match up.
Oakland is an absolute monster no questions about it. It’s going to take a Perfect game by a very talented team to beat them. But don’t sleep on bradley.. anybody sleeping in bradley is completely ignorant. Yeah ok Oakland 56-0 that’s cool. They also lost 2 games… Bradley mercy ruled bearden.. a team that beat maryville. Bradley beat two top teams twice in a season… bradley is the team that’s the first team to beat maryville twice in a year since 1986…The first team to take maryvilles district championship from them in 25 years. The team with #9 player in nation. The team with #1 Offense in state… has set several records this year for Tennessee so….. to think they don’t have a shot is insane. It’s a 50/50 shot between two monsters… maryville and bearden both played VERY well against bradley in the playoffs in 1st half but it took so much energy to hang with Bradley’s talent both teams died off quickly going into the second… bradley plays the entire game. Oakland again is a monstrous team. But this is not a one way ball game.. either team is capable of the win. But could be a blowout either way.. one perfect play and the other teams spirit could be crushed and then it turn into a blow out either way. Loss of momentum is a huge factor in this game.
I laugh at one thing. You pointed out your record vs Oakland's. They went out and played one of THE BEST teams in the United States. And they just avenged the other team they lost to, 56-0. (49-0 with 3 mins left 2nd quarter).
Anyway, I guess we will see how this one goes. Don't go quiet if things don't go so well.

Boy you livid your team is cheeks and you can't brag on them deep in the season lmaoo wonder what that schedule will look like next season
Gonna call somebody's team "cheeks?" What are you? Like 18-24 years old? Go back to the kiddy pool where you and your pea sized brain fit best. By the way, you are a Blackman fan. That thing is a mess right now. I think I would keep my mouth closed instead of pointing at other programs that are having more success than your own.

I could care less what you remembered or didn't remember. Oakland played with more passion than they did against an inferior Mt. Juliet.
10 points in 1st half vs MJ. Went back and watched the game. And they were the better team, yes.... But in no way possible were they EVER going to score 49 in first half like they did on R'dale.
"Passion" didn't make up that much difference. It's okay to admit you were wrong to think MJ should've been beat by more than they did.
17 vs Gallatin in 1st half, and all those points happened in the final 5 minutes of the 2nd qtr. This was their first 2 quarters after losing to Riverdale in a game they should've won. So don't tell me they didn't bring energy this game either. Clearly they were playing hard. I was there. Sat and watched the whole thing.
The wheels fell off for Riverdale. They fumbled on the first play and it all went downhill from there.

Watching these two teams play makes me wonder how they got to the second round.
I told you a week ago that this was how a game looks when two teams are struggling near equally against each other to get downfield.
Now look. No struggles getting downfield against a defense who couldn't hold them back in Riverdale. Offense looked a lot better, didn't it?

This has to be the worse defense that Oakland has had under Creasy's tenure. Very undisciplined group.
Oh you thought I'd forget these posts. Here I am, bringing it up for you to see again. You are saying this about a defense who gave up ZERO touchdowns to Gallatin Mount Juliet & Riverdale.

Oakland is still the best team. Beating them 1 out of the last 16 tries, and Oakland having a 69 game home streak is absolutely crazy. Beating Oakland once in the regular season, versus a team knocking them out of the playoffs is going to be a totally different story. Last 3 titles ran through Oakland. You’re going to have to take it from them.
Well, look what i just pulled to the top...I said this when everybody was certain that Bradley was #1 in the State. How we feel about that now, heading into this matchup guys?

Took you long enough to reply. You must have been busy telling Creasy how to do his job.

I'm pretty certain when you look at teams that both faced, whether it be in a game or a scrimmage, it's quite evident that Southwind was simply just a better football team. You don't just accidentally go 12-0 at this point & have 3 shutouts in a row (5 overall) heading into this game. Scoring 54, 50, 62, & 45. Better team won. I don't know what the surprise is after they beat Springfield 62-0.... Not knocking Beech, Southwind is just a solid squad.

Clown, calling someone an idiot on an open forum shows how much character you have. Such a brave keyboard warrior.
Like I said. A straight up idiot. On here or in person. That's what you are. Now, go tell Creasy how it's done.

You question my I.Q......you sure are smart. Both teams looked pathetic tonight. You have the right to be wrong.
You sure AREN'T smart. Go ahead and call out Creasy on how terrible his team looks you idiot. You'd be a fool to question his team at this point.

Both teams looked like they would have rather been somewhere else tonight.
Well I think that is called both teams struggling against the other. It's called competition. You don't think neither team wanted to win all that bad at this point of the season? Guess Creasy and Perry need to call you next time and figure out how to get it done!

Oakland tacks on a late one with 2 minutes left and wins 24-2. Congrats on a good season.

Look at the title of the thread.... No other program on this Site has to deal with the blatant disrespect that the Bears do. Honestly, CoachT should shut it down. Bunch of fat old clowns in here that never actually done anything of substance on the gridiron theirself, running their traps, hoping and wishing a 16-18 y/o group of kids get humiliated on Friday night. How embarrassing for you grown "men"
-
I didn't realize grown "adults" could enjoy waiting on watching a high school team fail so much. MJGB, you have seemed to be very realistic about your team on here for the last couple years. I can't find any threads where you thought they would be the State Champ. They are a good team, playing a very good team next Friday night. Good luck to the Golden Bears.

It’s a culture issue that Stroup has to overcome. He had a good year and it appears to be going in the right direction, but it’s going to take some time. The freshman team was ok, but the JV team was terrible. They just have to have realistic expectations with him and realize it will take a few years.
What kind of expectations do you actually think Gallatin people have? If you talk to folks that aren't satisfied with this season, then you are only talking to about 1% of the fanbase. EVERYBODY I know is satisfied with this season and the trajectory of the program. That is just simply fact. We lost to the best 6A program in the state of Tennessee last night. Would have been the same outcome if any other Sumner, Wilson, etc team would have played them. So I'm pretty positive that every Gallatin fan is sleeping comfortably tonight with the people that are in charge and how things are going. It's a good atmosphere to be around. Excited to watch them improve.
