A day later I still can't believe what I witnessed last night. Stratford's coaches, administrators, players and parents should be absolutely ashamed and embarrassed by their play last night. In all my years of watching football I have NEVER seen such a classless, cheap-shoting and dirty team. Routinely hitting after the whistle, ripping players' helmets off, roughing the kicker and punter two different times long after the ball was away, and many other instances of dirty, completely uncalled for late hits. Two separate times I watched a Stratford player PUNCH a Marshall County player (and neither time was a flag thrown) in the head/face. And several times the refs WATCHED THIS STUFF HAPPEN RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM AND DIDN'T FLAG ANYTHING!!!!!! Hats off to the Marshall County players and coaches for having a lot more class than Stratford and not being sucked into all the unsportsmanlike conduct. Again, Stratford should be absolutely ashamed of their performance.

159 completions for 2,544 yards = 16 yards a completion. Not sure what state you're in, but in Tennessee that would be an illegal man downfield if it was a screen pass! We're all done here...

I guess kids all over the country should just hang it up if they don't have scholarship offers. That is, after all, the only people the game is made for and the only reason kids play... Get real, dude. Production, leadership, and wins.

By both stats--Posey had over 2,500 yards passing last year while Oden didn't even have 1,000--and wins (8 for Posey, 6 for Oden), Posey is better, and he's off to a very hot start this year (600 yards, 8 total touchdowns). You, along with the people who voted Oden preseason all-state, seem to only care about the fact that Oden is 6'5. Apparently production and wins aren't that relevant!

Page upsets the Raiders. Spring Hill may be the most overhyped team in 4A...And the fact that Oden was preseason all state is laughable. He's not even the best QB in his own REGION. Marshall County's Ashton Posey is head and shoulders better than Oden.

Marshall County wins 60-23. Rebels get a couple garbage time TD's at the end. Marshall County....wow. Great team.

How does this one shake out? Hear Marshall County is loaded and deep this year.
