Central beat West 8-7 last night. Will Coley hit a BOMB at the deepest field any team in the distric will play at.
Was that game at Helton-Ridley or the "4 in 1" Fields?

The school's mascot is going to be a hawk, and their colors will be navy and carolina blue.
Those colors are awesome... *sniff* go titans! /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

Are you kiddin? That was a huge win for Clinton. Oh wait they didn't win did they? I have never seen a happier bunch to Almost win a game. Show me a good looser and I will show you a looser. Oak Ridge came out un- motivated and Clinton probably had the game of their lives. The calle were terrible aganist the home team. I dont really understand that but there were some very questionable calls. I did however loose some confidence in the Cats. Lets hope this was their bad game for this season. If they had played like they did tonight aganist a decent team the W could have easily been a L. The Stone Kid needs to get out of Clinton. If had some help he could lead a team with a coach to some post season play.
show me a guy who spells loser looser and ill show you a guy who cant spell /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

I would not underestimate Ravenwood. Its obvious that most people are, based on the fact that the 4A championship game is on its 4th page and this has 11 posts. This will be closer than most people think.
If you add the two threads, thats 4 pages
We are taking this seriously

you do not have 9 state championships.....you have 8. Go to http://www.tssaa.org to view them. By the way.....4 of the 8 were not gained in playoff contention, but by mythical voting.
don't hate

Jim Bob Cooter is the third string quarterback at UT, Fullmer should play him when the game is already locked up, fans would love it.
Yea, but when's the last time UT had a game locked up

After considering all of the evidence and arguments, I have concluded that Riverdale is definitely the top team in the 21st century.
Wouldn't Maryville have to be the top team in the 21st century. They have won like four titles since 2000.

East obviously has the best football teams in the state (although west and mid do have some great ones) and some of the best high school talent, but when you get into college tallent (speed, strength, size as opposed to pure football skill) the west probably.

It was just a hunch
Sorry for not responding earlier, kinda busy.

This is kind of off topic, but does anyone have pictures of Austin-East's new uniforms? I'd kinda like to see them.

Farragut looked great and should be able to EASILY win region and maybe even state. So you all better watch out for those Admirals.
I assume that you are kidding/being sarcastic.

Alcoa in a landslide.

They did that to a bunch of teams, but it is kind of annoying. I wouldn't want someone not knowing about OR looking at that book and thinking that we stunk or anything.

I'm pretty sure we are getting a new weight room, so it's not like we are being completely left out.

Murphy Fair's Picks for Class 5A Top 10
1. Riverdale
2. Oak Ridge
3. Dobyns-Bennett
4. Germantown
5. Brentwood
6. Franklin
7. Ootewah
8. Gallatin
9. Lincoln County
10. Ravenwood
While all the usual names seem to be in there each year, welcome to newcomer Ravenwood. Once again, if you want to know the toughest region in 5A (are you listening HLHS?) it is again region 6 with Brentwood, Franklin, and Ravenwood in the top 10.
That is the coaches poll.
Murphy's is this:
1. Germantown
2. Oak Ridge
3. Ooltewah
4. Ravenwood
5. Riverdale
Also i might as well say it because you know someone will. Preseason polls don't mean anything.

Dont look for the cats to be real impressive this soon. I dont mean that in a bad way just that a new Offense a new Defense and new coach means there is a lot of sorting out to do. Dont abandon the ship though steady improvment is what I am looking for personally. Judging the cats by some passing league and a scrimmage or two is a mistake. When the rubber meets the road in week one underestimating the cats will be a mistake.
Well said thumb

Why does the "Northeast" feel the need to start a topic parallel to another topic. I'm sure no one would be mad if you came down here and posted on the East thread.

BBB out of Oak Ridge does a good job. They cover Anderson, Morgan and Roane
Is that that show that comes on channel 12? If so, yea, that's a good one. thumb
