. The Rebels are small with no size on the line. I do think Coach Finley is doing a good job with what he has. Big guys in school just will not play !

I think that Zimmerman will pay huge dividends this season. I do not see Fairview losing this one . The Jackets by 2 Touchdowns. I am not looking forward to the return trip to Fairview Sept. 4th.

I saw Waverly Scrimmage last spring and I have heard that they Are improved since then . I have not heard any reports to make me Believe that Camden is not Camden this year. Camden is at home And that will make the difference. Camden 28 Waverly 21

Stewart County scrimmaged Waverly tonight and both teams have work to Do. Neither team is big but Waverly running hurry up no huddle and passed Often. Waverly does not appear to have the weapons that they had last year But offense still pretty good. Taeton Weiink did look good running for Stewart. Waverly won the Scrimmage.

I hope Finley stays put at Stewart County and he Has said he is. Only time will tell. I agree that if he wins the first playoff game in History for the Rebels then he will become a celebrity in a town that wants a winner. I happen to believe that he will be the man that gets it done. His players like him And are buying in. How long will it take?

Coach Finley got one of the best athletes in the School to commit to Football. The young man told me in church this morning. This young Man is truly gifted. We will need all the help we can get. Hope a few more Of the other athletes will follow suit. I did notice at the football banquet That he introduced a really good looking sophomore class .

. Winning is a process " not an event " and I see Finley changing the process. I am not saying when but Stewart Football will get there.

so what your saying is that he is leaving ! Compete in what way? Salary?I believe that he is a man of his word and I know what he said When he took the job. It will surprise me if he leaves this year.

Hope Finley stays where he is. He has unfinished business in Stewart County.

The Schedule looks better for Stewart County and I know Finley Is committed to improve the program. I am talking to some of the Other sport athletes that could help. Hope some of them will commit To the football program.

Already not looking forward to a return trip to Yellow Jacket town In week 3 next fall.

Congratulations to Hickman County on the win and Congratulations On a fine season Waverly. Hold your heads high because the turnaround In your program in one year is remarkable. I have a feeling that we will be Hearing more out of Waverly in the years to come.

No he probably would not have started for Stewart County because They had a pretty good quarterback. Wavotiger what's your problem With Stewart County. You try to dog them every chance you get ! It's easy not to like you and I try not to let that reflect on the Waverly Program.

Congratulations to all district 11AA teams in the playoffs. Wish you the best from the Rebels of Stewart County. Enjoy Your playoff games because it ends too soon. I witnessed the tears On the faces of the young men this past Friday night after the Seniors Last game. Just getting to play and be part of it means a great deal to These young men.

Just hope Stewart County shows up and plays with the same effort And intensity that they displayed against Lewis County. Camden Central Is a program that I have a tremendous respect for. They are always good. Best wishes for no injuries.

Go ahead and LOL but I bet they show up and play hard. I have always thought any team deserved a bit of respect but Guess that is not universal.

Stewart County continues to struggle with only one win even though The team has competed in every game except Waverly. Lack of size, And injuries have really been rough but the real truth is defensively we are Not very good. Quite evident when you score 47 points and still lose. When Holiday came to Stewart County it took him 4 years to get the program Going. I still believe that Cody Finley will turn the Rebels around but it may take A while. We still have 3 tough games remaining but the kids will play to the final Whistle and next year I understand that we will be in a different district. Good luck All teams and thanks to East Hickman for the way you handled the tornado warning Friday night. We were taken care of very well.

Zimmerman is the real deal. I saw what he did when Stewart played At Fairview. Not having him is a huge loss. Hard to duplicate his talent. Hope he gets to return soon.

Hats off to Fairview and Quarterback Zimmerman on the win. We lost The young man that ran the kickoff back on the extra point try to a Concussion and the starting quarterback to an ankle injury. The interception Right before the half for a touchdown also took the wind out of The guys. No doubt Stewart County Football is improving under Finley and I appreciate you saying that. Hope to get our boys back for Waverly. Hear from their folks they are loaded. Good luck the rest of the way And we really enjoyed the atmosphere of the game at Fairview. Also the Pizza Hut there did a good job on their delivery!!!!!!!

Finley did pull his starters against HC . My son is a starter for Stewart County and yes he pulled them. The man put 56 points on Stewart County when he was at Cheatham County in the first half and he did the same. He is trying to get his offense tuned in for rough games coming up.

The Rebels come to Fairview with a better team than we had Last year. But how much better? The Jackets put a whipping on Us last year for sure. I just hope we can play a respectable game and give a good effort . We had two starters out last week and we Really need them back for this one. I can't predict a score because I have not seen the Jackets but we know we are up against a good Team. Look forward to coming to see the Rebels vs the Jackets. Stewart County will be playing this game without 2 of their starters on defense. One is out due to a concussion which is the best tackler on the team suffered in the Northwest game. The other has been dismissed this past week by Finley due to Disciplinary reasons. Both were Key players!
