Webb's enrollment is 425.
That's a pretty good number. I know a lot of the DIIA teams in Nashville are much smaller than that.
-
Just wondering if they moved down because of enrollment or what?
-
Why don't Webb go back to AA since they've won plenty of state titles in the Single A.
-
Some of the other NCS posters can sugar coat it for you, but not me. Don't expect a letdown from NCS. We are going to bash you early and often. The only fun for Academy fans will be your colorful announcer. NCS is going to beat the Academy like an orphaned circus monkey.
Act like you've been there before. Oh wait y'all haven't!! Lol
-
Are you still whining about your team getting beat last Friday? I guess you did see how we win on Sawyer Brown.
I'm sure your boys have moved on to focus on Perry County. Let it go. Your boys played hard last week. Quit embarrassing them by continuing to whine about who beat them.
Now that's funny!!
-
Nah...we'll just play them straight up and then show them the respect they deserve, win or lose. I guess that's how ya'll win games out in Dresden. Now we understand your success!
At least now everybody is catching on how they win on Sawyer Brown.

Yes! They are pretty good, aren't they?
Hear your stud 8th grader is shopping his services around. Guess y'all better annie up!!
-
And the "Work Study" team beat Mc Ewen.
-
Per the NCS web site, they do have a work study program for which athletes are eligible. The web site gives no details - merely says to call the financial office with any questions regarding this program.
I am no expert on TSSAA rules, but I believe that there is no problem with programs of this type as long as the wages paid represent market value for work performed.
So basically your saying their is no difference in D1 and D2? I guess if your looking at it thru orange and blue glasses. Then it must be legal. LOL!!!!
-
A laughing nerve - I will be laughing for several playoff Friday nights when we continue to win and you are on these threads talking about basketball and whining about "private" schools
Yea. But you won't answer the question!!!!
-
I am unable to find where you, or anyone else, explained this previously. Does NCS have a "work-study" program of any kind? It is a yes-no question, so surely you can find the time and energy to provide that.
P.S. I am not taking sides and am not trying to give you (or anyone else) a hard time - I am just curious.
Thank You. I think I hit a nerve.
-
Did research. Are you saying you don't have a "work study" program that athletes are participating??
-
But just admit your in the wrong division. So how does the McEwen and Houston Counties of the world compete with private schools that give financial aid in D1?
And your wrong they did win before they did "work study". This is a Jeff Brothers thing.
-
All I have to say is the "work study program" at NCS is working great. Jeff Brothers brought it to NCS. After all he was used to it at Brentwood Academy and JP. Just get in D2 where you belong NCS.
-
-
So I ask again. What's the difference in D1 and D2??
-
How can D1 private schools give financial aid to athletes thru a "work study" program? If you can do this then explain the difference in D1 and D2?
-
Just saw that as well. It does stink but I am so glad that we have a staff that would not try to sweep this under the rug and hope nobody notices. Season continues, move forward, beat DA this week!
Nashville Christian @ Clarksville Academy (who will win and why)
