  4. People can't even get the TSSAA to move the tournament out of the COW PALACE so what makes you feel they would incorporate any type of legitimate seeding for the state tournament?

How about instead of tearing down TSSAA wrestling you get behind it and support it. I don't see you personally funding to rent Bridgestone Arena for the state tournament so why tear it down? The moment of winning a state title is an amazing feeling and a huge accomplishment whether it be in a barn or some golden arena fit for "cbg". Either way, that kid is the best in the state and getting on here and complaining about the location is irrelevant.

  5. Elkins defeated Lee 6-4 in the semi-finals. Lee came back in the consolations pinning Cerrito so quick you couldnt even have time to pop your popcorn. Lee pinned Cerrito in :50 seconds in the consolation semi-finals and then Mcclure in :44 seconds. So i dont understand how you believe Elkins would not have come back to take 3rd if it were seeded properly. Yes, i agree with you Cyree was the second best in that weight class on that day, but thanks to TSSAA he got 6th. All in all i am excited for the Fuller vs. Cyree semi-finals matchup again. If they can both make it there. Cyree got screwed yet again in the state bracket this year he will have to wrestle possible two state placers to get to Fuller.

Doesnt really matter if Cyree is on the side with Fuller or not. "to be the best, you have to beat the best" so, in order to be a state champion he would have to beat fuller in the semis or the finals. If he is the best in that weight class he will have to prove it tomorrow. Not really a difference if he loses tomorrow to Fuller or Saturday to Fuller, the best kid in that weight will be on top of that podium on Saturday night whether he had a "cake walk" to the finals or the toughest route ever.

  6. I agree. Their could even be an argument tht cyree beat fuller last year in the finals that was controversial but that's none of my business or did cyree get injured, I can't remember

Cyree got injured.. They wrestled in the semis and he got hurt but from what i remember Cyree was winning when he got hurt.

  7. I agree that a region finals rematch will be likely what we see, however i wouldn't disregard Devan Cyree and Nick Crawford. Both are very good wrestlers and seniors who are hungry for state championship. I think Fullers and Landers will be in the finals but it won't be a cake walk and if they aren't on their game both of those wrestlers could easily be in the finals.

  8. He's not on Kennets side of the bracket and I'd like to see Gaither beat Kramer, but who knows. Filbey will take the title I think either way!

220 i think you might as well flip a coin. Both of these semis are shaping up to be matches that could easily be the finals if the brackets were drawn differently. I believe whoever shows up ready to wrestle will pull it out. I personally like Filbey in this weight due to the fact that his only loss came to Father Ryan's Ben Stacey in which Filbey avenged shortly after. Kramer has been here before and proved last year in the semis and finals that he knows how to get the win. Kennett has had a strong year and has beat Kramer and Gaither and Gaither has impressive wins also. This is an over all pretty even group of 4 and out of ten matches you would probably get every finals combination you wanted. Cant wait to see how this one plays out.

  9. At 126 landers is gonna be tough to beat. He was about to get back points on fuller the other night and the ref called him for stalling. Fuller got on the tougher end of the bracket than landers did. Could possibly be the finals match

I also think we will see a region finals match up here. Im seeing Fuller vs Landers being the end result.

  10. Here's my most likely to...

    1 Debian 14 Pts

    2 Navarro 13 Pts

    3 Kennedy 12 Pts

    4 Russell 11 Pts

    5 Solomon 10 Pts

    6 Cyree (126) 9 Pts

    7 McElhaney (120) 8 pts

    8 Hicks 7 Pts

    9 Russo 6 pts

    10 Boykin 5 pts

    11 Garrison 4 pts

    12 Feuerbacher 3 pts

    13 Kramer 2 pts

    14 Binns 1 pt

Okay, maybe I'm a bit biased at a few of these, but I know about the blood sweat and tears it took for many listed here + I know who is rolling around on the mat every day, like Brandon Bruner and even old Lester down there in tullahoma... I know Morris is limited in his technique, but his he does have that smash mouth football mentality

Bam^2, Kramer, Binns and Cyree all gonna pull the upset? Maybe a bit bias is an understatement.

you seem pretty confident in Cyree's ability to win with putting him as your 9 pointer over Knox Fuller

  11. 14- Debien: 132

    13- Russell: 195

    12- Kennedy: 170

    11- Navarro: 113

    10- Fuller: 126

    9- Solomon: 182

    8- Taylor: 138

    7- Hamilton: 152

    6- Blansit: 120

    5- Oliver: 160

    4- Russo: 145

    3- Filbey: 220

    2- Boykin: HWT.

    1- Sesnan: 106

Christian Simpson beat Sean Sesnan 13-0 and TJ Hicks beat Simpson so i don't think there's much chance of this.
