  1. Was worried it would be bad. Ended up liking it better honestly.
  2. And awards after all of the matches is interesting
  3. Is anyone else having issues accessing the link?
  4. Does anyone know if the rankings will be updated to reflect region results before this weekend?
  5. Ethan Harvey (Centennial) could be another Darkhorse at 138, he had a close 11-10 match with Nathan Porter (Summit) and beat Isaac Asselin (Brentwood) 10-5 for 3rd.
  6. If you wrestled that side of the 120 bracket 4 times, you could have a different guy come out each time, a very tough weight and it'll be interesting to see who brings their A game

  11. Lots of ranked wrestlers will be going head to head at this competition, here's an outline of key potential match ups. I did not make these rankings, just compiled them to see how tough of a tournament it is this year and see some big matches! (Tennessee rankings from Pin-Tn.com). 12. Russo "illegally slammed" a kid, although it probably was just tough wrestling. I heard the kid said he could wrestle and then recanted his statement when he realized it was the only way to beat Russo... What a shame
  13. "should be seeded so numerous kids don't continue to get screwed" I hate to inform you of this news, but not sure why it matters if it is seeded or not. I thought to be the best you had to beat the best. Why does it matter if a kid loses in the semis or the finals...? Either way he didn't win, seeding shouldn't affect someone winning a state title, although it does make a good excuse for kids who cant win....
  14. Can someone give us a prediction that isn't heavily Middle-TN bias?
  15. 113 dooley already beat Brothers twice and beat calvin martin twice as well
  16. brackets are up, let the real predictions begin! finals predictions...?
  17. GP West starts today and is always great competition, below is the list of teams attending. Glad this year they decided to go back to a seperate weekend than the Father Ryan tournament. Lots of great and stacked weights, some weights have 4 ranked kids and some great match ups will be had. -Antioch -Blackman -Brentwood -Centennial -Cleveland -Creek Wood -Franklin -Houston -Lawrence County -McCallie -Oakland -Overton -Page -Ravenwood -Riverdale -Siegel -Soddy Daisy -Stewarts Creek -Stratford -Summit Potential studly match ups: 106- Charles Wheaton (Soddy) Bryce Pond (Cleveland) Nathan Manivong (Antioch) Zac Ward (McCallie) 113- Job Dooley (Franklin) Graham Brothers (Brentwood) Chase Payne (Soddy) Evan Hughes (McCallie) 120- Logan Whiteside (Cleveland) Adam Fuller (Centennial) Michael Moultry (Siegel) Dylan Coggins (Stewart Creek) Trent Maddox (McCallie) 126- Jack Shrader (Franklin) Tristan Blansit (Cleveland) Tristan Roa (Brentwood) Brock Herring (McCallie) Travis Arthur (Houston) 132- Colton Landers (Cleveland) Esteban Remillard (Summit) Trent Walliser (McCallie) 138- Cole IIer (Centennial) Andrew Birchett (Page) 145- Landon Fowler (Blackman) Ethan Dendy (McCallie) Joshua Stiles (Soddy Daisy) 152- Chris Rowland (Ravenwood) Will Patton (McCallie) Christian Salter (Siegel) Matthew Dale (Houston) 160- Tucker Russo (Soddy Daisy) Ethan Dendy (McCallie) Matthew Sells (Blackman) 170- John Oliveri (Stewart's Creek) Robert Hicks (Cleveland) Judah Duhm (McCallie) 182- James Hughes (Stratford) George Robinson (McCallie) 195- 220- Tyler Barber (Stewarts Creek) James Parker (Overton) Brian Phillips (McCallie) 285- Nick Boykin (Riverdale) Jordan Hardy (Antioch) I particularly like 113, 120 and 126 as three weights that will be very interesting. 126 will be a heated battle, Shrader with a few wins over Blansit and Roa but Roa beat him as well. 120 last week had a few upsets and a Fuller vs Whiteside rematch would be awesome. 4 very tough kids in this weight. 113 Payne is ranked #3 and Dooley #4, Dooley has apparently been wrestling hot with winning the Father Ryan Tournament but I am seeing Graham Brothers putting a suprising twist in this bracket, he is a stud who i believe just went down to 113, if not then 120 just got a ton harder.
  23. 2016 Champions: 106- Sean Sesnan over Zeke Escalera 113- Job Dooley over Christian Simpson 120- Trey Chalifoux over Saul Ervin 126- Ray Eason over Jack Shrader 132- Kirby Simpson over Esteban Remillard 138- Eli King over Nick Noel 145- Daniel Wesley over Jackson Oxford 152- Mark Floyd over Isiah Lawson 160- Jim Noel over Austyn Renshaw 170- Avery Buckman over Andrew Wesnofske 182- Layne Hatcher over Nathan Walling 195- Ben Stacey over Noah Evans 220- James Parker over Conner Sherman 285- Sammy Evans over Jeremy Darvin
