  1. That would be difficult since practices are always closed to parents! Unless of course your're special and highly favored!
  2. You're exactly right! There are at least 2 seniors, 1 junior, and 2 Sophamores that are better. But this player dates the coaches child and is very involved with this players family.... its gut wrenching and unprofessional.
  3. And your point is? Obviously if I went directly to the coach (which I have no problem doing except from backlash) my child would never set foot on the court again. Coach would take it out on my child. I don't claim that my child is better than the Freshmen getting to start, or play, (Well maybe I do), but the real point is that Seniors, Juniors, and Sophamores playing have as much or more ability and are getting benched just to let this Freshmen start.... AND... she can screw up and shoot 10-20% and not get yanked out of the game. Favoritism is so blatently obvious!
  4. Exactly. Its sad that in a lot of HS teams coaches only coach current "Talent" and don't coach all the girls to develop and improve. My child comes home and I ask what they did at practice and it is pretty much the same ol crap, nothing new. Funny, though, coach picks out a Freshmen and brings them in early to practice, before school, giving them more shooting and one-on-one time and they aren't any better than the other 12 on the team. Now that's Favortism! Couldn't be that this player is dating her child could it?
  5. It looks so bad when the coach plays her child's girlfriend (Freshman) over other Freshman, Sophmore, and Seniors. What's worse, seeing coach carry around the Freshman's younger sisters like they are one big happy family. Makes me sick and all the parents are seeing. Coach losing my respect when I thought so much of her.
