Big win for CC tonight on the road against Macon

Yes, big district win on the road for CC. They won by 11 points but they were up by more than 20

Generally speaking, schools with larger enrollments have an advantage over smaller ones, that's why we have classifications. The smaller schools in the district(Smith, Cannon, Dekalb,etc) struggle every year against LA. They may field a team every few years and compete for the title, but it's not consistent. LA has always dominated 8AA, I certainly don't think it's because they have some "secret winning formula". You brag about how LA beats AAA teams, then maybe they should move to AAA, they wouldn't have any trouble competing. I'm not trying to make excuses for the smaller schools, but I guess it looks that way. i will take my toys and go home now. Good discussion though and your points are well taken!

There's a reason why LA finishes at the top of the district(boys and girls) almost every year. I'm not mad about it, it's just a fact.

Great game by Cannon last night playing East Nashville into OT and losing by 2. Our guys looked impressive against a talented, quick team. We were not intimidated and were very poised. Looking forward to a good year

Cannon let a 14 point lead evaporate in the 4th against Liv. It never should have went to ot. We were lucky to escape with a win

Great come from behind win last night for the Lions. Once cc settled down and found their rythm upperman knew they were in trouble, especially toward the end upperman was sucking wind. I think our depth wore them down

Cannon gets another win over Coffee co last night. Sissom put up 32 pts.

Cannon Co boys defeat Coffee Co last night to improve to 11-1. Only loss is a 4 pt defeat to a good MTCS team. This is probably one of our best starts in several years. Hope we can keep it going

I just read in the paper where Smyrna girls defeated Smith Co 80-35. Hackett only had 9 pts. Wow!
