You shouldn't believe everything you hear. If Camden isn't putting the ball in Browns hands 30 or 40 times a game they are insane! Waverly rips spread teams apart. Look at East Hickman & Hickman & Creekwood when they tried to spread the ball and pass. Complete domination. Waverly's Jr QB #16 has greatly improved this spring throwing over 400yds against Stewart and running for close to 100. The upcoming Freshman QB is the real deal. He will be a great QB. Waverly will be a force this season. One thing you said that was correct about the Waverly/Camden game...it will be a different game. Waverly will not allow Camden to fight back in the end and make it a close game. Waverly will EMBARRASS Camden this year in front of their home crowd in the season opener. Many of you laughed last year when I talked big about Waverly...Waverly will continue to rise up.

Offensive Line & Run game is crucial to win state. Period. Waverly is licking their chops to see Camden try and throw it around.

Burnnnnnn! Good post. But to clarify it was 8 to 4. Not that it matters. Its a scrimmage. Both teams got better for sure. Waverly had a lot of 2nd & 3rd string guys on defense rotating in the entire scrimmage. Also had 2nds rotating in entire game on offense. The JV came in the last offensive series for Waverly. Stewart is much improved from last year. Waverly still has a lot of work to do but have potential to be better than last year. Best of luck to all

Camden throwing the football?! Wow! Thats surprising. Maybe they did learn a little something from that loss from Waverly last year! With a back like Brown, why would you want to even attempt to pass? Heard he touched the ball once for a 30 yard touchdown. Very Un-Camden like. Good for them. Zero head coaching experience is "iffy"? All head coaches at one point had zero head coaching experience. Everyone has to start somewhere. Give the guy a chance.

How did Camden fair in the scrimmage?

Scrimmage went well with Harpeth last night. Harpeth is much improved from last year. Tigers got off to a slow start allowing Harpeth to March straight down the field & score but the the Tigers fought back scoring 5 touchdowns & holding Harpeth to 2. Lots of work to still be done here in Tiger Town!

No doubt! Waverly will be a force to be reckoned with. Excited to see them in action in the spring. I know they have a tough schedule in 2015 but I feel like as long as they stay healthy they will go far.

I believe they lost 9 seniors. Backfield returns, line returns. Was a young team last year. QB is gone and a couple WRs. Couple of Defensive skill gone.

Waverly finished 9-3 last season and moves from 3A to 2A. The Region is: Loretto Hickman Scotts Hill Lewis Parsons-Riverside Non Region is: East Hickman Camden Fairview Cheatham Montgomery Central Look forward to seeing Waverly continue to do great things this season.

What is the reason you think this Cumberland? You have logical reasoning or are you just a fan? They lost 9-10 seniors which I believe 9 of them started. Most of the o line is gone and their backs and receivers. That's a lot to reload.
