I just saw on Facebook where Zach broke the Forrest single game rushing record versus Cornersville Friday night. 331yds. He made it look easy. Also thanks to all the Forrest coaches for making us old guys feel special Friday night. I haven't been that fired up in years. Congratulations to zach and the entire Forrest football team.

I've been hearing give us a few years for the past 30 years. You win a couple of middle school games and all of a sudden you think cornersville will magically start winning. Years of losing is engrained into the dna of everyone in that town.

These two towns are so close and so many subplots to this game. Should be a great week in both towns. When's the last time the Rockets won in Eagleville?

From my observation Friday night Coach Tyre might want to consider a change at Defensive Coordinator. I was embarrassed for the old man trying to figure out how to slow Forrest down. I don't think Forrest punted the entire game. But if it makes you feel better coach Tyre to claim you are better in the local paper go right ahead. I bet you wont say that after Giles, CPA, Marshall Co. Etc!

Forrest lost 13 seniors. They have a lot of unknowns coming back.
